I think Layer 2 projects are interesting. BLAST showed how moving stuff off the main chain can save money and make apps easier to use.

Honestly these L2s are everywhere. Too many now, and it just divides the demand. BLAST was a total flop. Very few users compared to top players.

I thought we agreed that stuff like BLAST is pretty much dead? I mean, L2s can help DeFi for retail big time. Cheaper than Ethereum gas fees.

Have you noticed how most of these lesser-known L2s struggle? They barely generate any revenue. People stick to Base and Arbitrum because they actually work. ZKsync feels kinda dead too.

Linea's trying to bounce back with their airdrop and incentives. But without killer apps, once the rewards stop, people will leave and it’ll flop again.

Yeah, like what happened with BLAST. No incentives means the mercenary capital just moves on. The whole L2 market is too spread out.

Super saturated market for sure. Some L2s are decent, but many are just hype. They need to get noticed first before any trading volume happens.

L2s remind me of cloud providers, too many logos and not enough substance. A real Layer 2 should actually post data securely, not just ride the hype.

So many L2s popping up lately. Developers are layering on layers now. L3s are the new trend? Honestly feels overhyped. Should have focused on scaling L1 from the start.
