Just finished coding my trading bot. It pings me when someone on my exchange's leaderboard makes a move. Crazy results these past couple of weeks. What do you all think, especially those with more trading experience?

Wait, how does that work? An exchange lets you see all that info on other traders? If that’s true, why even bother with a bot? You could just copy trade directly from the leaderboard, right? Plus, past performance doesn’t guarantee future results. Market crashes happen.

Honestly, I’m skeptical. You say you’ve made huge gains in just two weeks, but I’m not buying it. How about you share some screenshots of your daily profits? Prove me wrong.

LOL, right? "Hey, I created a cash-printing machine, but I need your opinion!" Yeah, sure, very generous of you. Sounds suspicious.

Is this just about copy trading or is it a legit bot? I can’t find any leaderboards on Binance or my local exchange. So is your bot tailored for a specific platform? Two weeks for testing seems way too short for a volatile market like BTC.

It’s your choice what kind of bot to create. But let’s be real, trading bots usually connect via APIs to execute trades automatically. What’s your bot doing?

It might sound odd at first, but it’s like copy trading. Some exchanges share aggregated data. You can mimic trades without seeing anyone's private info. Bots offer more control on parameters than just copying blindly.

Not convinced, OP. If what you’re saying is legit, you should have proof handy. Anyone can claim success without backing it up. I’d rather manage my own trades.

This sounds more like copy trading than a typical bot. It’s not limited to one exchange, either. And yeah, two weeks is a short testing window. I’m just sharing initial thoughts, no guarantees.

If it’s like copy trading, why not just use that? How can I trust your bot? No open-source means we can’t review its safety.

There are plenty of reputable bots out there with adjustable settings. Why compete with them when you could just use what’s already established?

I totally get the skepticism. There are a ton of scam bots lately. I won’t post screenshots. They’re easy to fake anyway. Anyone interested should try it out themselves on a demo account first.

You think a bot can get insane results that easily? That’s hard to believe. Maybe you’re looking at something else, since trading results can vary a lot.

Why not just use the exchange’s copy trading features? They have better metrics and are more reliable. I doubt your bot is even fully tested.

You're probably right, but if your bot works for you, that’s cool. Still, skepticism is natural given all the scams out there.

Programming a trading bot requires a solid understanding of trading principles. If you don’t know what you’re doing, your bot won’t perform well.

Tried several bots, and many just don’t work. If you’re getting insane results, share your bot with me. I’d love to see if it’s legit.

I’m new to trading, just doing spot trading to learn. I’m not getting much experience due to market volatility. I’ve never used a bot; I prefer learning manually.

Sticking to spot trading is smart for learning. You’ll gain experience and if you analyze the market well, you’ll avoid losses. Bots can complicate things.
