Hey everyone, not sure if I'm posting in the right spot, but here goes. Trying to get my LND up and running but I keep seeing this endless stream of warning messages in my logs. My node seems to be online and synced, but I'm worried it’s not actually working as it should. Anyone else run into this?
You might wanna move this to the Bitcoin Technical Support section. Technical issues with your node fit better there instead of this general discussion. Also, could you share more info? What exactly did you install? It helps to know what to troubleshoot.
From what I can see in your screenshot, it looks like the error isn’t just about one peer. If your node is online, those warnings could just be normal logs about nodes you’re trying to connect to that are offline. Maybe try checking your DNS settings? A lot of those names might not be resolving.
Yeah, I thought it could be a DNS issue too. I even switched to Cloudflare DNS and Google’s public DNS, but those warnings still pop up. What other info do you need from me?
Just share any non-private config details and command line options you used. Also, do you have any active channels? Those warnings probably mean your node is trying to connect to offline peers. If they’re in your config under "addpeers", removing them should clear those logs.
