I just started using the Gekkoscience Newpac USB miner and I'm getting this "GSH 0 failure" error. Only started after I updated cgminer from github. The pool owner, Kano, said I had to upgrade to keep mining with his pool. I’m not even overclocking since it’s 80 F in my room; actually underclocked! Was at 50 MHz, but kept getting errors and that weird "zombie" status. Thought the new cgminer was supposed to fix that, but I tried underclocking to 80 MHz now.

Wait, is that the USB miner that has 300Gh/s? If so, you’d better check the tips Kano gave ya from that link he sent. There are some good troubleshooting steps in there too, don't skip those.

Did you even read what he said? Like, c'mon, it's all there in his post.

How's the airflow over your heatsinks? Higher temps can still be managed if you have good air movement. If it’s 100F but there’s airflow, that’s better than 80F with no movement. Just make sure those heatsinks are secured too. Sometimes screws get loose with heating and cooling.
