Hey guys, I’m new to mining. One of my Aisen A1 cards just stopped hashing. Like, it’s showing 0mh. I rebooted and now I only see three cards. I checked the logs and think I found the problem, but it’s kinda confusing.
Is this about the Aisen A1 miner? I don’t think there’s any official support for it here, but I’m willing to help you figure it out. Can you share the full logs? Use the code tag or paste them on a site like pastebin and drop the link here.
Looks like chain 1 had some issues at first but worked for a bit. Chain 3 is totally dead though and has a low hash rate. Can you try running them one at a time? Maybe check if your PSU is underpowered?
I found out the wire was bad, so I swapped it. But then the 4 hashboards heated up and melted the new wire. I got another hashboard and now it’s all good. What’s this second mode people talk about?
Mostly, short circuits cause wires to melt. Without a multimeter, you can’t know if the hashboard is shorted. I’d recommend getting a pro to check it out. There’s a site where you can find repair services.
Hi, I’m thinking of getting an Aisen A1 Pro. Are these reliable? I’ve heard some miners struggle with heat, like Avalonminers, while others handle it well. How do Aisen miners stack up?
Honestly, not the best choice. There’s no support for these miners here. I’d go for well-supported ASICs like Antminers instead. Check the other thread for a list of reliable manufacturers.
