Is Trading Just Another Form of Gambling?

Over the years in crypto, I've seen trading feel more like gambling for those who lack solid knowledge in FA and TA. If you're clueless about research or how to evaluate a project, every trade is a gamble. Knowledge is key to trading, and the more you learn, the better your chances.

Totally agree! But it’s not just about knowledge. Patience is huge too. You can know all the FA/TA, but if you can’t wait for the right moment, you’ll still lose.

What exactly are you talking about? Trading new coins or just regular trading? It’s kinda confusing.

Yeah, I get that. It seems you’re mixing up short-term coin buying with actual trading. If that’s the case, it’s more suitable for the altcoin section here.

Let me clarify something. When traders rely on influencers for signals without doing their own research, that’s gambling. You’re betting on someone else’s insight.

For sure! But even having FA/TA knowledge doesn’t guarantee success. You must also be patient and manage risks properly.

You don’t need to be a genius to trade well. Just know the basics like buy low and sell high. Learning from others’ mistakes is key too.

I focus mostly on technical analysis. 85% of my time. I avoid trading around major news events since they can swing the market unexpectedly.

Trading requires serious skill and focus. It’s not like gambling where luck plays a major role. You need to invest time to learn.

If someone just copies signals from a paid group without learning, that’s not real trading. They’re just outsourcing their success.

Nice to see someone who gets it! Trading can feel like gambling without proper knowledge, but if you know what you’re doing, it’s not.

True. But manipulation can make it seem like gambling, especially if you don’t know how the market works.

Absolutely. If you start trading without understanding the basics, you’re basically gambling.

Anyone trading randomly without analysis is basically gambling. Real traders analyze their own charts and data.

Trading without sufficient knowledge? That’s definitely gambling. Real traders make decisions based on solid analysis.

In crypto, one small mistake can cost a lot. So yeah, treat it seriously and don’t just dive in.

You’re spot on. Many fake gurus make it seem easy, but real trading requires knowledge and experience.

Without a solid plan and risk management, trading turns into gambling. You need to build your own experience.

It’s tricky to equate beginner trading with gambling. Buying BTC with research is different from buying coins just because they’re hyped.

Relying solely on others’ signals is a bad mindset. Trading should be about your own knowledge and skills.
