We've had a solid uptrend since August 2024, and right now BTC's chilling around $105K after a bounce from $101K. The whole market cap is close to $3.55T, and this consolidation feels more like a strength test than a weakness check. I mean, the market's just taking a breather, not collapsing. Since $BTC bounced off $101K, it looks bullish with targets around $108K to $109K. As long as we stay above $101K, the vibe is good. If we dip below it, well, things could get dicey. What’s everyone else thinking? Is BTC just getting ready to jump again?

That’s nice data you’re sharing, but don't overlook the weekly market performance. Many traders see the government shutdown as a good signal, but honestly, it might just be temporary. Expect volatility from Friday to Monday; everybody’s gonna be cautious for a bit.

Not calm, honestly. Since that tariff scare from Trump on Oct 10th, it's like the market’s walking on eggshells. Some days are super low on liquidity. And we aren’t ranging much; it feels like a slow drift downwards. If we were bouncing around $120-126K, then maybe I'd say we’re coasting, but that's not the case here. With the holidays, I doubt we'll see major drops or new highs until next year. Markets tend to chill in December, and we're still unsure about Fed movements.

Yeah, the market's tense right now. Bitcoin's still above $100K, but the overall sentiment feels nervous rather than calm. The bounce from $101K was strong but shaky momentum, and every little rise meets some sell-off pressure. Tariff news and low liquidity are real concerns, making the short-term outlook feel fragile, even if the long-term seems bullish. If we hang tight between $101K and $108K, maybe it's just a pause before aiming higher, but calling it calm before a breakout seems sketchy.

I wouldn't call it calm either. Prices are adjusting, but we’re on a steep decline currently. If we can level things out, then maybe, but right now it feels like a deeper pullback. Look back at a year ago; if we can maintain that range, maybe we’ll find some steadiness. But who knows? It could just be a round trip back to where BTC was 12 months ago; that would definitely be quiet, but this year has been anything but!

This thread kicked off when Bitcoin was pretty steady near the $100K support. Now we broke that, and it’s dipping towards the $90K zone. I think we’ve shifted from calm to correction. Who knows when this bearish trend will stop, but historically, Bitcoin often rebounds strong.

Remember when this thread started? BTC was around $104K, and we weren't too concerned. Now, it’s dropped to about $94K, a level I haven't seen in months. If we're stepping into a bear market, let’s be real about it. I'm just as confused about where we’re headed next.

You've heard of the phrase "calm before the storm"? That feels like where we are right now. Initially, I thought this dip was due to the White House shutdown, but now that’s done, so fingers crossed for some positive movement. Everyone knows not to panic during dips, but honestly, I think a good news update would definitely help.

Super dull market lately, and the vibes are negative. Mostly FUD, not much bullish sentiment. We're at the tail end of a cycle, and without proper prep, it's gonna be tough to get through any storms. The whole US government situation is key to watch. The shutdown might be over, but that doesn’t seem to help BTC, which is back below $100K. What other bullish signs do we need to confirm a bear market is looming?

Wow, look at this thread now. OP, you were saying calm at $105K, and now we’re scraping $94K? Definitely not calm before a breakout; it feels like a sharp correction. Adaseb and Dunfida were spot on about how tense the market feels and the liquidity issues. It seemed less about gearing up for an upward move and more about finding a way out.

Is this correction a way to build up for the next bull run or are we entering a bear market? Honestly, I don’t think anyone really knows. The market drop seems unrelated to the US government news. Normally, government reopening would boost morale, but hilariously, the price fell even more after that. So don’t count on that news to turn things around.

I believe it’s not just Bitcoin that’s facing issues right now. This is more of a general economic challenge affecting investments across the board. Sure, it’s more visible in Bitcoin, but it shouldn’t trigger panic. Let's remember the consistent performance over time. Everything will get better; we just need to be patient and hold on.
