Is There Still a Chance for a Bitcoin Bull Run This Year?

Bitcoin hit its record high of around $126k last year, and a lot of us thought it would keep climbing. But then it crashed hard toward the end of last year. We saw some recovery signs earlier this year, but now it seems like it's dropping again. Skybridge Capitals is scooping up dips, but is that enough?

Honestly, I don’t stress about the current price. I focus on building the community instead. A larger community means more value for everyone. Just keep buying small amounts when you can and save those satoshis. Every little bit counts for the future.

I wouldn’t be surprised if many companies are quietly buying Bitcoin. They're probably more ready for this than we are. But when big names say a bull run might happen this year, it makes me nervous. Historically, that kind of optimism can lead to more drops.

Thinking we’ll see another bull cycle this year feels unrealistic. We just came off a significant one. If it were to continue, we wouldn’t be looking at a drop below $60k. Until it hits $50k, some folks won't admit we’re in bear territory. Best to buy low and hold.

It’s only February, and we're on a downward trend. Maybe by December we’ll be back above $100k again, but only if something huge happens to reignite the hype... I’m worried that ongoing conflicts, like the Iran war, will keep dragging prices lower.

The question is whether buying is aggressive or passive. If investors are aggressively buying, then maybe there’s hope for a bull run. But if they’re just placing passive orders, then it’s unlikely to push the market up.

I really doubt a bull run this year. The price has dropped about 50% from its peak, signaling a bear market has started. We don’t know how low it’ll go, but it clearly looks downward right now.

We’re not at the peak yet. After the last halving, Bitcoin shot up but has since fallen due to bad news and other factors. I think we won't see another rise until after the next halving in 2028.

2026 is likely to be bearish too. Better to accept that now than to panic later when prices fall even more. Smart investors will be buying while everyone else is freaking out. If you're not ready for it to go to $40k, you might get rekt.

The bull run is done for now. We're probably at the start of a bear cycle. I don’t see us hitting any new highs or even reaching $100k this year. They're just buying dips to grab Bitcoin at cheaper prices.

Expecting a yearly bull run is unrealistic. Sure, it could happen, but it’s unpredictable. We’re just months past a bull run, and 2026 might not be any better. Big companies might be buying at these lows, but that's part of their strategy.

Not everyone is looking for hope this year. Many were surprised the price didn’t keep rising after hitting $126k. Volatility is the name of the game, and a crash isn’t shocking.

Patience is key. Good times will come back. The 4-year cycle is predictable. Let the bear market run its course. Just keep investing. The price will rise again eventually.

The market’s downtrend has cut prices in half, but people still look for a bull market? Seriously? The last run went from $16k to $126k. Now we’re firmly in bear territory.

If you believe in a bull run, good for you. I think folks should focus on accumulating instead of hoping for a quick rise. Buying now could be risky if you need to sell soon.

Once we see multiple failed recovery attempts, we need to realize the market's weak. We’re in bear season, and don’t let anyone fool you into thinking a bull run is coming.

I don’t get it. When Bitcoin was at its peak, everyone said they’d buy if it dipped below $100k. Now that it’s around $66k, everyone’s panicking. You wanted cheap Bitcoin, and now you have it.

Institutional investors are coming in, but I’m skeptical they’ll use their buying power to create a new all-time high this year. Maybe we’ll stabilize around $100k, but breaking new highs seems tough.

There’s still a flicker of hope for a bull run in the future, but not this year. Right now, during this dip, it’s just about buying Bitcoin at a discount.

I doubt we’ll see a bullish trend again this year. If you think back to how the bullish season started, it’s clear we’re heading toward a bearish phase now. Do your own research and don’t just believe others.
