So MicroBT just dropped their new M50s++ and they’re saying it hits 21w/th. I saw a video, the miner was clocking 161th but only pulling 3368 on the meter. That’s like under 21w/th with fans and all. Seriously impressive! It’s a big leap ahead of what they’ve done before, kinda on par with the Bitmain S19Xp at 21.5w/th and 141th max hashrate.

Yeah but I bet those things can underclock to around 18 watts per th. I mean, if we’re talking specs, it’s possible for S19 XP to do the same with some tweaks. But honestly, I value default settings more. MicroBT’s quality really stands out; Antminer’s delivery times suck. The XP is better in that regard, like you get it now versus waiting ages for the M50s++.

+1 on the longevity talk. Gotta think about ROI too. I’d pick a miner that pays off in 10 months but lasts two and a half years over one that could ROI faster but might break down early. Reliability is key for me. Also, anyone have proof of these claims?
