I keep hearing the dollar is toast and the US is on the decline but honestly, that's just not what I'm seeing. The dollar is holding strong and the US has more influence than ever.

No way the dollar's done but it's definitely not what it used to be. Sure, it's lost some value, but the US isn't the only one getting stronger. Other countries are making moves too.

Data shows a different story tho... the dollar's been losing ground long before the latest shutdown. Did you notice the Fed just cut rates again? Interest rates are at a low that's not helping confidence.

I haven’t seen anyone saying the US is collapsing, more like they’re pointing out the dollar’s reduced strength. There’s a real problem with how economic shifts in this administration are impacting its value.

The dollar isn’t dead. Plenty of nations still use it for reserves and trade. But let’s be real, holding dollars isn't exactly a safe bet anymore with inflation eating away at their worth.

The dollar's not going anywhere as the primary reserve currency. But we can't forget that every dominant currency eventually falls. Just look at the military support backing the dollar it's still the big player globally.

Right but think about Brazil's situation our Real is really struggling. Dollar reserves are our shield against its depreciation. Many here advise holding dollars to hedge against our weak currency.

In terms of performance, the dollar’s still boss. When you compare it to weaker currencies, it shines. And paired with crypto? You can't deny the market loves dollar-based stablecoins.

Things fluctuate, sure, but the dollar is on a downward trend for a bit now. People are losing faith in it, and it seems tied to political issues with the current government.

As long as the US flexes military power, the dollar will stay afloat. Sure, it's losing some value but look at its global transactions still the top choice.

I don’t buy the collapse narrative either. The US has maintained dominance in multiple sectors for decades. Investors still believe in the US economy and its ability to manage debt.

Even with all that printing, the USD stands strong compared to others. Countries are grappling with inflation, and the dollar seems to handle it better than most.

Exactly! Overprinting leads to disaster for weaker currencies, like Zambia and Venezuela. But the dollar's global usage keeps it relevant and respected.

What’s the UK’s impact on the world’s economy anyway? Speculation is rampant. Some claim it's all doomed but it feels like FUD to me.

People care less about money and more about assets now. The dollar’s always gonna be king in trade, but its storage value? That's a whole different story.

The US economy is massive and the dollar is undeniably strong. Sure, inflation affects all currencies, but relative to others, the USD holds its ground.

Dedollarization is real and it's been happening for years. Just saying the dollar isn't dead doesn't change the truth of shifting global sentiments.

A recent article contradicts your views more countries are avoiding US goods, making dollar settlements less necessary. Payment systems are evolving.

Dollar's practically started declining over 200 years ago, it's been a wild ride. But comparing it to crypto? Apples and oranges, man.

You're probably taking in too much anti-US propaganda. Talk is cheap. I see a solid decade left for US dollar dominance before it sees a real challenge.
