The so-called 90% rule is pretty grim. It goes like this: 90% of traders blow through 90% of their funds in the first 90 days. Crazy, right? I hope newbies take this seriously.

Totally agree. But when I was new, I lost cash for way more than 90 days. Took me months to really grasp what trading was about.

100% truth right here. If you've never lost in your first 90 days, you’re probably not trading at all. The stats say that 80% of traders aren’t making profits. Most of them are the ones pushing courses on social media.

Yeah, it's sad but true. Many will fall off the trading wagon. Only a handful actually stick around and find success.

From my experience, it's spot on. Going in blind means losses will hit hard. Trading is risky as it is, and without prep, it's a disaster waiting to happen. Newbies really should do their homework.

I think for beginners, this rule serves as a heads-up. Losing money is almost a rite of passage, but once they lose, they might actually start learning the ropes.

What do you expect from newbies? Their first 90 days are basically a crash course. Plus, 90 days isn’t enough to really master the basics.

I’m on the fence about this. When I started, I made good money right away. Maybe it’s different now with markets being so unpredictable and flooded with options.

Yep, that rule definitely holds water. If they don’t learn properly, those losses will just keep stacking up. It's a long journey to becoming one of the 10%.

Market has its own rules, and it's brutal. It preys on the unprepared. I buy into the 90% rule, though actual numbers might vary.

I agree, but finding a decent strategy in 90 days is a stretch. Most serious traders take years. Unless they jump into courses, but even then…

Didn’t even know this statistic existed for trading! But it makes sense. New traders diving in think they can just rake in profits without the effort. It’s a wake-up call.

Tons of warnings about trading risks out there. Honestly, you think you’ll get it, but until you dive in, it's hard to grasp how risky it is.

Fact: newbies are more prone to losses while they’re still learning. Mistakes are part of the process, but if they consistently lose, something's off.

This whole 90% thing reflects that steep learning process in trading. It’s about emotional control, having a strategy, and managing risk. If you can get the basics down and practice with demo accounts, you’re way ahead.

Demo trading is a great way to prepare, but real trading hits differently. Emotions kick in when real money is on the line.

Agreed, starting with demo accounts helps a ton. But when you switch to actual trading, it’s a whole different game.

The 90% rule really is valid. It reflects how long it actually takes to gain the basics and manage emotions. You gotta be prepared to lose.

I’ve heard about this rule before. It’s all about educating yourself first. Many just jump in without knowledge and face the consequences.
