I've been trading these three assets lately, but it's all been on crypto exchanges, not traditional markets. So, when I say Gold and Silver, I'm talking about RWA. Silver's been more profitable for me, while Gold's given me some returns but not much. Bitcoin? It's been falling lately, and I've managed to profit with both Silver and Gold instead. Anyone else trading metals? What’s your take? They seem to move more predictably than crypto.

I haven't tried Silver on crypto exchanges yet, but I did trade Gold (XAUUSDT) on OKX. For Silver, it's XAGUSDT. I checked the charts, and Silver's 4-hour timeframe looks a lot like Bitcoin on the 1-hour. Most of my trades are in crypto like SUIUSDT and TRX. I swing trade Bitcoin because the small price spikes aren’t worth it. Gold's tricky right now, especially with the US-Iran situation.

Honestly, I don’t focus on Gold or Silver, so I haven’t traded them at all. Could you drop the names of some exchanges where they trade? Does Binance even list them? I mainly stick to BTC/USDT. When the market drops, I convert to USDT until I'm ready to jump back into Bitcoin at a better price.

I don’t know about that consolidation phase for Silver. Maybe we see it differently. It did dip to around $60 a few days ago and seems to be moving with Gold lately. But compared to cryptos like Ethereum or Solana, Gold and Silver feel less volatile, even with Bitcoin’s recent drop.

In bear markets, altcoins usually drop harder than Bitcoin. If you’re not closing your altcoin positions right, you risk holding on to losing trades, which just snowballs your losses over time. Recovery only happens after the market hits bottom and starts a bull run, but not every altcoin will bounce back to its previous highs. Solana's been strong, but that doesn't mean it’s safe.

Yup, except on wild days, metals are pretty stable. They’re closer to Bitcoin than you think. I was supposed to trade PAX Gold on Binance but mostly stick to Bitcoin and a few Altcoins like Solana. When Bitcoin dips, Solana usually suffers more. If you’re in a long trade on Solana, it's a tough spot right now. BTCUSDT is my main focus.

What timeframe are we talking about for BTC vs metals? It all depends on when you entered the market, right? As for exchanges, I think most Gold and Silver options are derivatives, meaning you’re not really owning the metals unless the platform has some consolidation process.

I’ve got an analysis of Silver for the week if anyone’s interested. Hit me up for the link.

Gold has been trending lately, and Binance just added XAU to the spot market. Seems like they want to capitalize on the growing interest. Silver might be next on CEXs. Honestly, these three assets are great compared to many new altcoins. But Bitcoin is still the king for long-term investment.

It’s not Bitcoin that hurts you, it’s the pain of holding altcoins. You either deal with it or cut your losses. I keep accumulating physical Gold but haven’t bought Silver yet. The price feels high right now, and trading cryptos like XAUT isn’t appealing to me at the moment.

I think you’re looking at it too quickly. I’m using the 4-hour timeframe, and it seems like consolidation to me. Shorter timeframes may look bearish, but the charts suggest a potential pump soon if it retests the $60 zone and breaks through.

If you're aiming for less volatility, Gold and Silver are decent, but profits might not be huge right now. They're steady, unlike crypto which has wild swings. Bitcoin can yield quick profits, but it’s not the best for safety. Altcoins are riskier than just holding Bitcoin.

I haven't touched the TradeFi market. I know it's all about derivatives, but I need to get a grip on how it works first before jumping in. I see notifications about RWA prices but haven’t joined the fray yet.

Gold had some significant drops too, but I managed to profit from it. It’s true, Gold and Silver tend to react similarly; if one spikes, so does the other. Bitcoin, though, is more independent, showing potential for a rally that I’m keen on.

Good on you for making profits from Gold. It’s been steady, which means you picked a low-risk asset. Silver and Bitcoin are more volatile right now, and holding Bitcoin long-term seems smarter than chasing quick trades. Gold might bring better returns than risky trades on Solana.

with safe investments, Gold, Silver, and Bitcoin are the way to go. Trading these assets can be risky, especially after their recent bull runs. The markets for Gold and Silver can swing unpredictably, and bad trades could lead to severe losses.

Honestly, I haven’t tried trading metals on crypto platforms. I mostly stick to Bitcoin, DOT, DOGE, SOL, and ZEC. I don’t trust that these crypto tokens equate to real metals, especially on centralized exchanges. I’d rather hold actual Gold and Silver than deal with digital tokens.

I’ve been trading these metals since the hype started, and yeah, Gold is much more stable than Bitcoin. It’s a solid pair to trade while waiting for Bitcoin to recover, though I’ve been liquidated before due to low liquidity on pairs like XAUT/USDT.

Silver's been volatile for sure. It was below $30 last year, shot up to $120, then fell to around $67. It’s slightly less volatile than crypto, but it can change quickly. Trading them under RWA on perpetual futures is different compared to TradeFi, and we should stick to this context.

Silver was very volatile as it was below $30 last year but it increased to $120 this year and later fall to $67. It later went to almost to $98 before falling again this time. Recently it almost got to $60 before it increased back to $70. It is still kind of less volatile to crypto but it can behave differently at anytime and I see it very volatile. This is different from TradeFi, they are listed under RWA under derivative market. You trade them just like BTCUSDT and they are on the same perpetual futures. Such pairs can also be seen under TradiFi but this thread is about RWA that are tokenized. Yes, TradFi is of long and short also. Forex traders will find them easy to use because it is more similar to them.
