Ugh, just another spam topic from the Bitcoin Knot crew. Nobody's backing your BIP110. Just go fork and create your own crapcoin.

Good luck getting folks to watch a video that's over an hour and a half long. Just so you know, BIP 101 was about block size increase and it never got accepted.

Oops, my bad! I meant BIP110, not BIP101. Totally different thing.

No worries, Bitcoin Knots is set to activate BIP-110 no matter what. Even if they hit 0% support, it’ll still go live. Just one non-BIP-110 block and they'll fork off.

Seriously? You think people will watch that long video? The most popular podcasts are long, yeah, but that’s not the norm. Anyway, I don't engage with threads I dislike, it's simple.

But c'mon, if fewer than 1% are showing for BIP110, you’re wasting your time.

Not my words, but check this out. It's a bit all over the place but gives a good rundown on why BIP110 is likely to fail soon.

You got it wrong. Between 8% and 11% of nodes are on BIP110. Even the core folks can’t deny it, they just claim most are fake nodes.

You can’t kick anyone out of Bitcoin. If you want centralized control, go back to ETH. And good luck with your idea of filtering out nodes.

Bitcoin is meant to be peer-to-peer and permissionless. Satoshi didn’t care about malware paying fees, he knew spam happens. We’ve got filters in core already.

BIP-110 isn’t just a tweak. It’s about consensus rules, which is way more complicated than standard rules. Knots think it’s better to risk a minority chain instead of just filtering the current network.

I think you were talking about Knots filters, not BIP-110 specifically. BIP110 is gonna hit the spammers hard.

Exactly. Just look at what BIP148 did; it led us to Segwit. Can’t change the past, but we can kick the malware folks out.

1% signaling refers to blocks, not nodes. I can't check the link because I’m not logged in.

How do you expect to hit 55% if you don’t start at 1%? That’s just the first step for BIP110. Activation’s coming in September.

You’re either lying or just misinformed. To lose coins, you’d need to be using advanced wallets and completely unaware of the current debates.

Yeah, he talks smooth but misses the bigger issues. It’s not about letting a majority dictate; it’s about honest consensus.

Nah, you were just trying to scam before. Now you’re funded by some random investor? Sounds shady.
