So I'm wondering, you can encrypt a file with your seed phrases, but what happens if someone forces you to open your wallet? This tool seems more limited to just encrypting files rather than dealing with actual wallet software.

You nailed it. I was thinking the same thing when I saw this topic. I expected the OP to explain their reasons for creating this tool in the first place. Seems like they might not fully grasp what duress actually means.

It really depends on who the attackers are. If they’re masked and haven't hurt you yet, they might just take your stuff and leave. Killing someone is a big deal, I think most robbers wanna avoid that.

Did some digging myself and found that the chance of getting killed is low, even if you resist. But getting hurt isn’t unlikely at all, like 10-30% chance. If you show weakness, they might remember you as easy prey and come back.

What’s the real difference in all this? I'm intrigued by the tool, but I gotta ask what type of duress you really mean? I’ve never come across a tool that protects you while someone’s pressuring you, and the decoy idea seems easy to see through.
