People seriously don’t get it. Bitcoin is often priced in dollars, so inflation affects our view of its price.

Exactly! A Bitcoin at 68K in 2021 could seem lower than 77K today. But if we factor inflation, that 77K isn’t really better.

Real value vs nominal value, right? It’s tricky. Some see value as subjective. I mean, if steak costs less in sats, my buying power is up, even if Bitcoin's down.

Totally! I prefer thinking of my Bitcoin in satoshis. The dollar's inflation doesn’t change my Bitcoin's actual value to me.

When Bitcoin rises, we often ignore how inflation plays into it. If Bitcoin's higher in 2026 vs 2022, that’s good, but we should consider inflation.

1 BTC = 1 BTC is the most honest measure. Any currency comparison isn’t really valid. And yeah, some BTC price increases are just the dollar falling.

Wait, so you mean without inflation, Bitcoin might not be as high as we see today? Like, it could be 75K instead of 77K?

Exactly! If Bitcoin holds at 100K, inflation eats away at its value. It’s more complex than it seems.

It seems like inflation is something we need to account for long-term. Bitcoin should outpace inflation eventually.

For sure! Bitcoin is like a hedge against fiat inflation, just like gold. It holds value better in the long run.

Perspective matters a lot here. Bitcoin’s value is affected by fiat inflation. If fiat loses value, Bitcoin seems less valuable until it rises.

Couldn’t agree more! Bitcoin is where it was in 2021, but the dollar has lost serious value since then.

Yeah, having 77K in BTC now is better than 68K back then. Inflation means your purchasing power is lower with the dollar.

Bitcoin is deflationary! It’ll gain value irrespective of inflation. The dollar’s loss doesn’t change Bitcoin's worth.

Bitcoin’s always shifting, price fluctuates. Right now, BTC is somewhere around 75K, affected by ETF movements and global unrest.

Most folks just care about the dollar dropping. They want profits from Bitcoin, but the dollar's decline is a big worry.

Interesting take. Pricing Bitcoin in USD helps understand market dynamics, but inflation plays a huge role in that value.

Inflation impacts how much people invest. Rising prices mean less cash for investing, which affects the market.

True, people see Bitcoin through a dollar lens. Many think the dollar is the gold standard, but that’s a flawed view.

Yeah, it’s confusing to consider real vs nominal value. High inflation makes old money worth less today.
