So when BTC dominance goes up, altcoin prices usually dip. Like, if Bitcoin is rising, altcoins just can't keep up... It's like a pattern I keep noticing and I'm not alone in this.

Right? Bitcoin's like the king here. When it sneezes, the altcoins catch a cold. It’s not new info... the market always reacts this way.

True, but can we really change that? Seems like most altcoins can’t move without Bitcoin’s lead. Whenever BTC dips, it drags everything down with it... kinda feels rigged, honestly.

Exactly! Many just stick with Bitcoin because it’s the safe bet. Once Bitcoin rises, alts might only follow if they feel lucky enough to catch a ride. This is why Bitcoin’s dominance will keep growing.

And don’t forget, there were times when even with high dominance, some alts still surged. Those were the bull runs, tho. It’s a different vibe then.

Oversimplifying things a bit, aren’t we? If there’s a trend, how do you know which alts to gamble on? Some market caps might be affected differently... gotta think beyond just Bitcoin.

Love the effort you put in here! Most folks just jump in without even researching... But honestly, it’s a bit basic. In bear markets, people sell off weak alts for Bitcoin. That’s pretty standard.

Not saying you’re wrong but there are exceptions. Like if Bitcoin jumps but alts still gain ground too... It's possible BTC can rise and alt prices can chill or even grow.

Familiar with this cycle, right? It's like we always go back to Bitcoin leading the pack. It's not just a theory, it feels like that’s how it’s always been in the market.
