This is a chill spot for everyone to chat about Bitcoin Testnet trading. All Testnet versions are up for discussion, and let’s keep it lively!

Is there a trading pair between Testnet3 and 4?

Yeah, I think my exchange lets you trade with Bitcoin. Links to Testnet3 & 4 markets are available, but I doubt there are many others out there right now.

I meant the trading pair specifically for testnet3/testnet4.

Oh, my bad. I haven’t seen a site that has direct trading for just those two. There’s a two-step process on AltQuick, though, involving Bitcoin.

People are mining Testnet 4, swapping for Bitcoin to buy Testnet 3 then withdrawing. So, you can go from v4 to v3 on AltQuick, just not straight up.

Liquidity is what everyone wants with altcoins. It’s all money-driven since they lack real use cases. I’m into sidechains like ixcoin and i0coin. Any sidechains on AltQuick?

I’m starting to feel iffy about trading altcoins just for Bitcoin and stablecoins.

Lack of liquidity makes the markets super volatile. Some folks see that as a plus, though. No sidechains on AltQuick right now.

#10 Aug 10, 2025, 10:42 AM Definitely my biggest request, too. People want USDT/USDC pairs with Testnet, but I don’t get it. Times are changing.

#11 Aug 10, 2025, 04:31 PM Nothing has changed with the proposed fork. Developers will have to choose between hard-forking to testnet5 or patching testnet4.

#12 Aug 11, 2025, 10:57 AM I wanna grab some Testnet coins for this new project I’m working on. Got a whitepaper in the works.

#13 Aug 13, 2025, 06:51 PM AltQuick is non-KYC, just set up an account and dive in.

#14 Aug 13, 2025, 07:40 PM I’d like to trade directly outside exchanges for my project. No rush for listing. Maybe I can get it on cratex.io for testnet3 and 4 pairs.

#15 Aug 14, 2025, 01:06 AM Just send BTC or LTC to holders of Testnet tokens until it’s listed. Creating a bridge for that network is key.

#16 Aug 16, 2025, 04:25 AM I’m confused by what you want. Sounds kinda vague.

#17 Aug 16, 2025, 06:55 AM Looking to build a solid base and try something new. Cratex.io might be my only initial listing option, but I’ll share more soon.

#18 Aug 16, 2025, 11:10 AM New coins often haven’t been tested before listing. Bitcoin didn’t have those problems initially.

#19 Aug 16, 2025, 02:22 PM I had plans for Testnet 3, then testnet 4 dropped and I paused. Need to create a chain to work with testnet coins.

#20 Aug 16, 2025, 06:33 PM You can still use Testnet 3 without issues.
