Exciting Review on a New Mining Device

Just set up a new device called Beagle. Super low power usage, around 8-9 watts and it does about 100gh. Not a huge output but it’s neat for introducing mining and checking some coin prices.

I’ll be getting two of these. One for myself, obviously. Expecting to keep it real with my review. Hint: it’s gonna be low power.

Here’s a PDF manual for the Beagle. Took me forever to connect it to my wifi, but once I switched to the main router, it was smooth sailing. The seller’s account is pretty new, but I think I’ve dealt with them before.

It does more than just mine. You got time, temp, humidity, and prices for four coins. The alarm is kinda weak though, doesn't ring for long.

Got two Beagles running on viabtc. They keep good time and show prices for BTC, ETH, and a few others. No issues at all.

I have a few questions about this device. Can we choose the currency for price display? Is temperature in both F and C? Can you set alarms based on price? How often do prices update?

You can switch between F and C. Let me check on the currency options, I know it has three countries to choose from. The alarm is only for time though, no price alerts.

Been using this gear for a month now and it’s been flawless. Quiet fans too.

Anyone know if this can run on solar? Would be cool.

This device uses under 240 watts daily. So yeah, a small solar kit should work fine.

Everything’s running perfectly. Just mines quietly.

Days later, both Beagles are still chugging along, no problems.

Totally! I can check prices easily, which helps me with trading. Just got some BTC when it dipped under 80k.

BTC is a solid investment right now.

By the way, we’re considering adding a feature to toggle the backlight on the main page. Philip, want to upgrade the firmware for this?
