Let’s face it, Bitcoin Testnet actually has some value. Not a lot, but still something.

Totally agree! It's like a hidden gem waiting to shine. Already got my coins, just waiting for the hype to explode.

It's not that it has zero value, but honestly I think trading it is a no-go. You can get tBTC easily from faucets anyway. But still, it takes effort to mine it, so there’s that. People saying it’s worthless are just misinformed.

Good points. Testnet’s old too. Genesis Block dates back to 2011. Plus, it’s been through a bunch of halvings, which makes it more interesting.

Yeah but the social angle is huge too. Tech-wise, v3 is everywhere, especially in Asia. Projects are buzzing with it.

So true, the Asian market is wild with v3! And don’t forget how cash apps prefer using it. v4 is still kinda lagging.

Just wanna add, the fear around Testnet 4 being undervalued is also keeping people at bay. Nobody wants to invest in something that might reset.

I still can’t wrap my head around the point of Testnet. It’s like, if it’s just another network, is it really worth anything? Confusion might just mess up the market.

Right, the whole selling Testnet for Bitcoin thing feels outdated. These days, scams are way more advanced. Forcing buyers into BTC or Monero is just smarter.

I see how Testnet might have value since there’s real demand for it and you actually need to work for it. But honestly, the value is tiny. Not something to hold or collateralize for sure.

Scammers are out there trying to twist everything. I steer clear of stuff I don’t fully understand. Been watching how Testnet grows and it's getting serious.

Yeah, a little value makes sense, especially if people are putting in the effort. But kinda feels like they want us to stick to the real Bitcoin to avoid confusion.

Heard stories of newbies falling for scams while thinking they’re buying real Bitcoin. So developers might be cautious about giving Testnet any value.

Man, it’s sad that some people jump into buying without knowing what they’re doing. Testnet has value, but it’s so minor.

Even Ethereum Sepolia has some value now. The issue is people hoarding test tokens instead of using them as intended.

Blows my mind that they trade on DeFi... connecting worlds, real and fake.

All these networks are essentially altcoins. If they don’t peg properly, they just become another chain with unique consensus rules.

But if you start assigning value to Testnet coins, you lose the testing purpose. It’s not meant to be an altcoin.

Exactly! Testnet should remain a low-value area, or else it risks becoming a worthless asset.
