Just continuing from the last thread: So many numbers to crunch, but at the end, it’s all about profits and losses, right? Prices can be low but if the ROI isn’t there... well, who cares?

Good luck, y’all! Gonna look for a used miner. Waiting for a sweet deal on the S4, or maybe I'll check out the S5 or S6 instead. eBay, here I come. Just curious about it, but I really don't like eBay.

Those progress pics are kinda misleading. It shows the S4 at under.5W/GH but official specs say.69W/GH. What's the deal there?
Honestly, if miners are smart, they won't rush to buy this. No offense to Bitmain, but the pricing discussion has been beaten to death in the last thread. Let’s move on and think before we buy. The design does look cool, though.

Exactly! But hey, I’m keeping an eye on future deals. Bitcoin isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It'll have its ups and downs.
TOO HIGH PRICES! Just don’t waste your BTC or fiat on this. Seeing Batch 1 again... just like every other S model. I’m waiting for my Min Buy Qty to hit 30 units.

How much does that coupon actually lower the price?
Thought S1 and S2 were on the same efficiency level? That chart feels off.

Seriously overpriced, Bitmain, what’s up? Have you updated the firmware to the latest cgminer like you promised ages ago? Or we still using that old version with security holes?

That’s a $200 savings.
Check this out: a pic showing 4 S1s upgraded, powered by a server PSU, and overclocked. Tech is really advancing, and that case looks pretty slick.

Honestly, 5 S3s with a PSU are cheaper... just saying.
Bitmain, congrats on the S4 launch, but the price and efficiency don’t add up for me.

Definitely not for home miners. I’ll stick to waiting for the next batch of S3+, unless they jack up those prices too.
Do these come with rack mount ears or brackets?
