Cryptocurrency Donations in Politics: Yay or Nay?

Is it a good idea for politicians to accept crypto donations? What do you think?

If I have Bitcoin, why can't I donate it? It's my money. Not every crypto transaction is traceable, so what's the issue? Like, I actually prefer donating in crypto for anonymity.

I see no problem with donating crypto for political purposes. As long as it's not illegal, let people spend their money how they want.

Political donations in crypto are just like donations in cash. If fiat is out of the picture, why not use Bitcoin? The issue is control; they can't manipulate crypto like they do with traditional funds.
