So, do you guys think 1 Bitcoin could actually hit $50k someday? Maybe in like 50 to 200 years?

Honestly, I think it might take a while, like over 20 years, but it's possible. If Bitcoin keeps doubling after every halving, who knows?

2 centuries for Bitcoin? That's a long shot. I'm not even sure it’ll exist in 10 years. The price is super unpredictable, so reaching $50k seems far-fetched.

I believe it could happen. The price fluctuates but keeps rising overall. More enthusiasts are joining in, and there's a demand in my country. I see Bitcoin hitting that $50k mark eventually.

Yeah, predicting crypto is tough, but some coin will definitely survive. Just not sure if it'll be Bitcoin or something else.

I’d say the chances of reaching $50k are like 0.01%. Why think so far ahead? I’d prefer a shorter timeline like 2020-2025. Bitcoin might even outdo gold.

Not sure about that. BTC has had its ups and downs, but it's never really dropped to a certain level for long, right? Seems unlikely.

The future of Bitcoin? Who knows! It’d be a miracle to see it go over $50k anytime soon. It’s all a big question mark.

I don’t think we’ll need to wait too long. In about 10 years, I feel Bitcoin could hit a new high. That would be amazing!

#10 May 17, 2021, 03:13 PM You might wanna consider how much of the world economy could shift to Bitcoin before that. It could happen sooner, but we need way better transaction speeds.

#11 May 18, 2021, 11:54 PM 10 years? Haha, dream on! It’s gonna take ages. Bitcoin has potential, but honestly, no clue how long.

#12 May 19, 2021, 04:14 AM Why predict 50 years ahead? Technology has advanced so fast in the last few decades. I doubt Bitcoin will survive that long.

#13 May 19, 2021, 04:39 AM If supercomputers can break Bitcoin’s security, they can do the same to banks. So, it’s not just Bitcoin that would be at risk.

#14 May 19, 2021, 05:51 AM That’s an interesting point. But I’d rather rephrase the question. Will Bitcoin's buying power be equivalent to $50k today?

#15 May 19, 2021, 06:12 AM Everything’s possible in this crazy world. Who knows? Bitcoin could hit $50k in 150 years, or it could drop to fifty cents.

#16 May 19, 2021, 08:00 AM True, I think we might hit $50k before 2030. But purchasing power? That’s a whole other discussion.

#17 May 19, 2021, 01:38 PM As long as people keep using Bitcoin, and more companies accept it, there’s a shot. But when? That’s the real question.

#18 May 19, 2021, 06:14 PM Nah, it won’t happen. I’m betting Bitcoin won’t even hit $5k in the future. But yeah, we can’t predict the future.
G #19 May 19, 2021, 08:08 PM Reaching $50k? Sounds like a pipe dream. The unpredictability of it all makes me think it'll never get that high.
O #20 May 19, 2021, 10:41 PM Maybe, just maybe Bitcoin will reach $50k soon, but my big question is: will it even last 200 years? None of us are living that long!
