Concerns Over New Soft Fork Proposal in Bitcoin

So we have a soft fork aimed at tackling spammy stuff like inscriptions and BRC-20 tokens, right? This is officially kicked off.

They won’t need to work around it. They’ll just misuse old public keys. Protocols like Omni are still here.

Yeah, but there are more Core nodes than Knots, so their signaling won’t mean much. We’d need more than 14% to change miner support.

What’s the chance we can actually track which client mined a block? Seems like the miners don’t report that info.

I doubt any actual ban on consensus changes is possible. Non-participating nodes won’t even know about these proposals.
