Hive is like a decentralized crypto network that came out of Steem. It focuses a lot on blogging, but there’s also a bunch of cool stuff on it, like exchanges, games, and even a fitness platform that rewards you for staying active. This all kicked off after some dude took over Steemit, and the old users weren't happy at all. They tried to protest or get things back to normal but ended up just creating Hive instead around 2020. Pretty wild, right?

Interesting take on Hive, didn’t realize there was so much community involvement in the fork from Steem. The fact that users could bring their old accounts and assets over really shows the commitment. I mean, the ecosystem looks more developed than I thought, with games and fitness apps. Fast and feeless transactions are definitely a major win for users. Thinking of checking out Hive.io too, curious to see how active it is now compared to before. The community vibe is still strong, which is awesome.
