Hey everyone! Just starting in the mining scene. Been mining with some old tablets on CryptoTab. Not much action, but it's cool. Got 3 tablets running at 1MH/s each and making about 4k-6k sats monthly, depends if I can reset the miner in time.

Honestly, CryptoTab is a waste of time. Feels like you're earning, but in reality, it's barely anything.
Right? That's why I'm looking to upgrade. Any ideas on those miners I mentioned?
USB miners will definitely outperform that old Antminer S1. It's way too outdated and power-hungry. Check out some light USB stick options on this forum.

CryptoTab and similar online mining methods are BS. If you don’t own real mining hardware, you're just wasting your time.
Wow, the Compac F can hit over 200GH/s! With a good USB hub, you could even hit 300GH/s.
How many sats do you think I could pull in with that USB miner?

I pay about 9 cents per kWh. Not sure about the total circuit capacity though. How can I figure that out? I don't want loud equipment since my wife's not cool with noisy miners.
Expect around 3310 sats a month with a Compac F at 300GH/s, if the mining pool lets you join. The Apollo BTC is a solid choice; quiet and around 3TH/s.
9 cents per kWh is a bit steep for large miners. But for babies, loud miners might even help them sleep better!
Yeah, expected earnings with the Apollo are like $12 or so before power costs. Use a calculator to check different setups.
You're probably right, power bills often outweigh the earnings. I'd say stick with something decent, like at least a few TH.

Not a good call on Apollo, man. It pulls 200w while the Compac F is only 9w. You don't wanna waste power at that rate.
Buying a single Apollo could be cheaper than running multiple Compac Fs. Just a thought.

Operational costs are similar across miners. Buying an Apollo would be simpler to manage than a bunch of Compac Fs.
