Big companies go for the mass market. They target billions, so they can't adapt quickly. Small businesses are more agile, catering to local needs with personal touch. They still have opportunities to thrive.
Supply chains have changed a lot. Before, it was a long process from raw materials to small sellers. Now, manufacturers sell straight to customers, cutting out the little guys. That's putting them in a tough spot.
If tech is pushing out small entrepreneurs, the answer is simple: go digital. Small businesses should build their online presence and brand. The tech wave is real, and it's time to ride it.
Totally agree. Big tech has changed the competition game. Small businesses feel the heat as giants dominate. But that doesn't mean they're finished. They just need to adapt and evolve.
Marx predicted this back in the day. Funny how capitalism turned out just like he said. Monopolies will keep sucking up small businesses unless there's government intervention.
Big tech entering all industries makes life hard for small businesses. Those thriving locally are now struggling against the giants. Yet many customers prefer local service and unique experiences.
It's tough out there, but risks are part of business. Sure, many small businesses close, but some make it through by understanding their audience.

A lot of entrepreneurs dream of selling to a big company and retiring. If you think like that, then the survival of your business is less of a worry.
For survival, uniqueness is key. If you're opening a restaurant next to chains, you need a standout offering. Competing with similar quality and prices is a no-win.
Look at restaurants. High-end and roadside food joints can coexist because they target different customers. If someone undercuts prices while maintaining quality, they'll win.
I’ve seen small businesses struggle against monopolies firsthand. It’s tough competing with pricing and marketing of big firms. My own business tanked trying to keep up.
Not sure if they can really thrive, but we gotta keep trying. Focusing on quality and service is key. The game is unfair, but small wins feel more rewarding, right?

Understanding the system helps. Monopolies want control. What we need is an alternative system where small businesses can support each other and grow.

Many small business owners face a unique challenge. Giants are penetrating every market, and small players must adapt to keep up. But there are still opportunities.

Small businesses have some advantages, but so do the big ones. They can buy in bulk and have big logistics. But weaknesses like stagnation can be exploited by nimble small players.

Exactly, it's a different world now. Today’s challenges are tougher than before. If you're not ready, your business will likely fail.

Competing with giants is tough, but not impossible. Some small businesses stick around because they offer something unique the big boys can't.
Big business seems unstoppable, yet they can't cater to every segment. Take Coca-Cola; they're too big for small local markets, leaving space for medium and small businesses.
Bigger resources do increase success chances, but small businesses shouldn't aim to compete directly at first. Finding their own niche is more important.
