Can institutional investors really boost Bitcoin?

If the stock market dips, Bitcoin might follow suit. I keep seeing this phrase "see you at $40k" everywhere. But with Binance shifting its SAFU fund to Bitcoin, could we actually see it climb above $100k this year? Or do they need more time and a drop to accumulate more?

Honestly, Binance moving its SAFU fund hasn’t really helped the market. If other exchanges did the same, sure, it could push the price up, but Saylor buying isn’t enough for a $100k push. If institutions decide to sell, that’ll hurt way more than it helps.

Totally get that. There’s a ton of money moving in and out from institutions. Exchanges doing this stuff is more for PR than real impact on Bitcoin's price. There are so many factors influencing Bitcoin right now, not just retail or institutions.

Bitcoin needs time, man. The bulls turned bears need to wake up. Let things play out naturally; the bear market will end eventually. No need to rush things to push the price up.

The issue is institutions moving SAFU funds to Bitcoin will mostly happen OTC, which won’t really change the market price overall. I’d rather just accumulate Bitcoin at lower prices. If everyone jumps into Bitcoin, it’ll just get manipulated by big players.

The SAFU funds from Binance mean nothing if they’re just being used as exit liquidity. It’s just money shifting around. Institutions are looking out for themselves, not boosting the market. They’ll dump before buying back at lower prices.

If all exchanges start doing what Binance did, that could be something. But honestly, I doubt Bitcoin will go past 60k. There’s some serious manipulation going on that we probably don’t even know about yet.

C’mon, you’re delusional. These big players are the ones causing the mess. They sold high and now want to buy back cheap. Thinking CZ’s billion will save Bitcoin? That won’t even budge the price!

You’re right about the influence of buyers and sellers. But institutional investors are pulling back to invest in gold instead of Bitcoin. That’s why we’re seeing this price drop.

Institutional money is a big deal, for sure. But thinking they’ll make Bitcoin hit $100k is risky. Binance’s SAFU fund move shows they still believe in Bitcoin, but it’s a long game.

People don’t get the OTC system. Big buyers don’t just buy Bitcoin on exchanges. They deal with huge exchanges in the OTC market, which doesn’t move prices like regular investors.

Bitcoin goes through its cycles. We’re still in a bear phase, so expecting a price jump to $100k just because institutions buy more isn’t realistic. Now’s the time to buy low and wait.

Yeah, institutions might buy more if demand grows. But many won’t collaborate. They’re cautious, with analysts making decisions based on market demand, not just trying to boost Bitcoin.

Remember, this drop is what institutional investors want. They sold at the peak and now are speculating on a lower price. They’re pushing bad news to shake out retail traders.

Sure, they could boost prices temporarily, but it won’t stop future declines. They’re here for profit, not charity. If they buy, they’ll sell, so it’s better to let the market flow naturally.

From what I see, no one institution can really control Bitcoin's price. Their actions might momentarily influence things, but it’s the collective behavior of everyone that really moves the market.

It’s funny seeing people think institutional investors will come to save us. They’re just as reactive as retail investors. ETF outflows might show institutions selling, not saving.

Binance’s billion-dollar Bitcoin buys haven’t changed the downward trend. Even with more institutions buying, the market isn’t reacting positively right now.

I thought it was just a $1 million plan, but they’re aiming for a million BTC over five years. That’s a huge commitment, and Brazil might struggle to pull it off unless prices drop significantly.

I honestly don’t see Bitcoin hitting $40k. 50-60k is a strong support level right now. Binance shifting their SAFU fund might mean they know something we don’t.
