Hey everyone.
Have you come across any AI tools or agents that can actually manage bitcoin or crypto wallets? Are there wallets that are more compatible with AI?
Not looking for any magic tool that gives free satoshis, just curious about the possibilities. We all know there are security risks, but for small amounts, it could be a fun experiment, right?
Can AI/Agents/LLM Manage Crypto Wallets?

This is pretty new to me. Honestly, I wouldn't let an AI manage my wallet. But I get the appeal. If you only fund it with a small amount, it’s not that risky. It's more of a learning experience.
I did a quick search and found some info on it.
Gonna bookmark this thread for more insights. Thanks for bringing it up!
OpenClaw might be a solution for this. It has a multi-chain wallet feature where you can ask the AI to create and manage a bitcoin wallet. But I’ve heard some concerning security issues, like private keys getting leaked.
There's a lot to consider with AI's security. If you decide to try it, use only what you can afford to lose.
I haven't tried these yet, but letting an AI manage my crypto wallets seems super risky. If they can access my keys, they can take my funds anytime.
Web3 wallets are even scarier since they can pull my funds without any 2FA or email access. Much more dangerous than centralized exchanges.
Oh man, no way.
Why would you make your wallet vulnerable? That's just crazy.
Connecting something like OpenClaw to your wallet could lead to hackers giving commands through Telegram or WhatsApp. What's the benefit in that?
Honestly, I think this idea is nuts. I’m a conservative person by nature. I'd rather keep my private keys in my head than on any device. It just feels way too risky to me.
You mean letting a third party manage your private keys? That just raises the chances of losing them, especially if AI tools share data with centralized services.
If these tools exist, they should definitely be avoided.
But people trust these tools to some degree. Like OP said, starting with a small amount makes sense for understanding the system. If you can afford to lose it, the risk feels better managed.
I’m open to AI, it’s already in many jobs. I even use it for spreadsheets and it helps a ton.

I didn’t think using AI for wallet management was a good idea. AI collects and processes data from interactions. Why would anyone trust their wallet to something that analyzes and stores data? Sounds super risky.
Pudgy Penguins is launching their product soon. I haven't looked into it much, but it's on Telegram. From what I hear, it’s a solid project.
Exactly, that’s why I haven’t touched OpenClaw yet.
People are jumping on it because it seems shiny and cool, but I’ve seen claims of massive gains that just sound fake.
It’s all a ploy for engagement.
From what I've gathered, these AI agents can use APIs or terminals to interact with wallets. You could store Bitcoin in wallets that support API and let the AI work with them.
There was an OpenAI developer who experimented with this, but it backfired when the AI sent its entire wallet balance due to a bug.

I’m shocked that people are connecting LLMs to live wallets. It’s just a text generator, not a secure system.
Trusting it with your private keys is a bad idea. Just imagine a scammer giving it commands to drain your wallet.

Using an AI agent like OpenClaw sounds risky. One wrong move and my wallet could be wiped out. Security issues are huge, and hackers could exploit any leaks to steal my seed phrase.

I’m curious about Tesla’s AI agents. Elon said every Tesla has an AI4 chip for various tasks.
I can’t wait to use my Cybertruck’s AI chip. Free internet and AI sounds awesome.
Why not? I don’t think it’s that dramatic.
You’re not fully delegating control. A dedicated wallet with a small amount could be a cool research project.
Plus, there are GPT models that interact with wallets. AI's potential with crypto is worth exploring.
Hey! As an engineer involved in AI and Web3, this is a fascinating area.
You're right to be cautious about security. The goal isn't to give an LLM your private keys. It's about using agents via APIs or SDKs to orchestrate things.
For now, this is experimental. Integrating AI with wallets is possible through APIs, but security risks are real. Testing with small amounts is the way to go as there’s no standard for AI-friendly wallets yet.

I just set up OpenClaw on a VPS. I’m curious about its capabilities.
Tried getting it to trade automatically, but it keeps refusing due to security concerns. Even when I said it’s just for experiments with a burner wallet, it still wouldn’t comply.
