Hey all,
I’ve been trying to put together my FIRE plan but ran into a wall. Most calculators either totally skip Bitcoin or act like it’s guaranteed to double every year, which is kinda unrealistic.
I wanted something that combines a traditional investment strategy with some Bitcoin involved, adjusting for actual inflation. So, I ended up creating a simple tool for myself.
You can give it a shot here: https://threedolar.com.br/en/bitcoin-retirement-calc

Nice, I’ve been looking for something like this. Most FIRE calculators are outdated af.
+1 to you for making it.

Looks cool. But does it really consider real inflation? Seems like all these tools just guess.

I agree with that. A lot of these calculators are just full of crap. They don't factor in the real-world stuff like inflation properly.

Can we trust the returns it uses? Like, are we talking 200% a year or more realistic numbers?

I think keeping it conservative is smart. 4% rule makes sense for most, mixing in some Bitcoin is a nice touch.

Why even bother with traditional methods if we’re in a crypto world now?

Because not everyone is as bullish as you, lol. Gotta be realistic.
