Choosing the right tax-free country can be tricky. Gotta think about legal stuff, your finances, lifestyle, all that jazz. Different countries offer different perks depending on what you need.

A few months back, my government cracked down on P2P exchanges and banned them using the local currency. This really hit our crypto scene hard. Then a big exchange rep got arrested when trying to resolve it. Just a mess.

Yeah, the article totally overlooked Türkiye! It might not be the wealthiest place, but the southern parts are gorgeous for retirement. There’s talk about a new crypto tax, but it’s likely gonna be a tiny flat tax, like 0.1% on trades.

Haha hypocrisy at its finest. VAT is about to hit 7.5% on all transactions next month. The government is backpedaling after realizing they can’t enforce the ban. Still better than what other countries are charging.

Saw my country made the list! Kinda surprising since it's not well-known. The info’s mostly correct, but they missed key details. Georgia offers great tax breaks for companies, like Betfury getting a tax-free zone for mining gear.

These lists are nice, but I wish they'd go deeper, you know? Maybe some links or comparisons to past years. And is Portugal still crypto-friendly? I thought that was the case.

What’s Türkiye's status now? Is it friendly for crypto or not? Feels like the article is missing the current situation. Plus, inflation is crazy there right now.

Türkiye is still pretty friendly except they banned crypto payments. So you can't buy stuff officially with crypto. On the down-low? Who cares. Just avoid the cops if you get scammed.

No taxes on crypto yet in Türkiye. No capital gains tax, no trading tax... for now. But I'm guessing they might introduce a small flat tax soon instead of a capital gains tax.

Portugal has to follow the EU’s MiCa laws. Check social media for more specific info. I think Russia has the most free market now since they don’t really have regulations yet.

AFAIK, the MiCa law is more about companies, not individuals. If I can pay with Bitcoin without issues, I’m good. But who knows.

Not sure how Russia could be a good option for anyone. Even if you don't want KYC, there are still risks.

MiCA will kill privacy for users, not just businesses. All service providers will have to do KYC, which stinks. It’s not just about big sums either.

I wouldn’t use Bitcoin in stores where they track my info. I’d rather convert crypto to cash for purchases to avoid future headaches.

Russia’s got its own issues. Even if payments are banned, people are still trading crypto for cash. Just be careful with customs if you’re moving cash across borders.

Yeah, for sure. But I can’t see my government ever fully dropping crypto taxes. They make a ton of money from taxes as it is. Malaysia and Singapore are kinda smart about it, but their taxes are pretty high.

Good point about the Caymans! People say it's one of the best places for no crypto taxes. But I’m stuck in the US.

Russia has its problems, though. If you don’t have someone backing you, there’s a risk you'll lose everything.

Problems in Russia will begin at any stage. If there is no one to stand up for you, then: a). It will be quite difficult for you to find reliable people. b). You risk losing your wealth in the nearest forest.
