I need to figure out the dollar values for a bunch of transactions (trading, mining, rewards) in CAD to calculate my capital gains. Is there an online tool or database where I can check the dollar values for BTC and altcoins? Thanks!
Calculating Crypto Value for Tax Purposes

You could try out cointracking.info. It supports multiple FIAT currencies like CAD, USD, GBP, and more. First 200 trades are free too. Just need to sign up with your email, no ID required. I'm actually quite happy with this tool.
After spending the night on cointracking.info, I realized I really need an API that can give me the dollar value of a coin based on date/time. Anyone know where to find historical values for crypto via API? Any help would be appreciated!

Ugh, paying taxes on crypto gains is a real headache. We might actually need accountants who specialize in crypto tax stuff. This is a nightmare. Lol.
