Hey everyone! First mistake: Don’t even think about long-term trades with shitcoins. These things are all over the place and can vanish from exchanges anytime. I’ve seen them drop by 50 percent in a blink. Better stick to scalping or short-term plays and always set a stop-loss.

Right? I learned that the hard way too. Bought a bunch of altcoins in 2017 thinking I was onto something great. Years later, they’re practically worthless. Classic case of being fooled by hype. So, how do you tell a shitcoin apart from a legit project? Is it experience or just luck?

Lol, every memecoin is basically a shitcoin man. I buy them knowing I might lose it all, but sometimes you catch a gem when the hype hits. Just don’t throw too much money into them. Low stakes is key, right?

Totally agree. Other than Bitcoin and Ethereum, most coins feel like shitcoins to me. If you're trading, aim for the top 30 coins. They usually have more liquidity and solid backing. Check their rankings on CoinMarketCap and do your homework.

Super important point. Even if you're a great trader, overtrading can mess with your health and finances. Set a daily profit goal. Once you hit it, call it a day! Even if it’s just 10 bucks, stop trading.

I noticed your post reflects my earlier one about mistakes and lessons. We’ve all got to learn from each other. Maybe add some personal touches or links next time. Self-reflection is gold!

Absolutely! Self-control and patience matter. Also, yeah, that use thing is a killer. I only stick to spot trading these days.

I feel you! I fell for FOMO big time early on. Chased hype coins and bought near the peak, only to see them crash. Now I always stick to a strategy and avoid impulsive moves. It’s a lesson learned.

Couldn’t agree more. The shitcoin dangers are real. You should stay within the top 10 to 50 coins for futures trading.

Exactly, discipline is key! If you set a rule like 10% for entries, stick to it. Don’t get tempted to jump back in just because prices spiked after you sold.

Holding altcoins for a long time thinking they’ll reach $1-10 has cost me dearly. Sticking to established coins like Bitcoin gives you confidence, especially when the market’s shaky.

For long-term gains, just skip trading. Buy and hold Bitcoin. That’s the ultimate cheat against the exchanges. Control your keys and funds. Trading is a trap!

Right on! When you get into crypto, be cautious of massive price drops with shitcoins. It really feels like gambling sometimes.

Not everyone gets it right away. A lot of people hold onto coins hoping for a comeback, but you’ve got to set stop-losses. Learned that the hard way myself.

I was lazy about researching coins and ended up buying ones with airdrop issues. Lost 30% just like that. Now I steer clear of new ones.

Thinking a coin will hit its all-time high again is a recipe for disaster. Many alts just keep dumping after reaching it. BTC and ETH are still the best for trading.

Newly listed tokens aren’t always a bad buy. It depends on the situation. Not every new token is fresh from presale; some have been around just on different exchanges.

Mistakes come when you buy coins after they’ve already shot up. You can easily end up waiting ages to break even. Don’t let greed rule your decisions.

It’s tricky to spot a solid project nowadays. If you’re not careful, you might get rekt. Invest only what you can afford to lose!

I hope you’ve learned from these mistakes. Many traders struggle with the first two issues. I know I did. Overtrading can crash your portfolio hard.
