So here’s the scoop. The Avalon 1466 has two versions. The air-cooled model hits 150 terahash with an efficiency of 21.5 joules/terahash. Pricing is still kinda vague though. Anyone else excited about this? 🤔
If Canaan’s struggling with production, the Antminer S21 from Bitmain is gonna boom. Those guys have a solid efficiency rating. What’s up with Canaan? Are they having chip supply issues or what?
Sounds like it’s mostly supplier headaches. But I bet some of their partners are lagging behind. I think both Canaan and Bitmain get their chips from TSMC. Can anyone back that up?
