Automatically Directing Miners to an Address on Bitcoin Testnet

I wanna know if there’s a way to get my Bitcoin Core on testnet to automatically send miners to my testnet address instead of doing it manually for each miner. Is that even possible?

Nope, Bitcoin Core doesn’t have any RPC or command line options for auto-setting a specific ASIC address. You gotta configure each miner manually, but once you do, it usually sticks. But hey, what’s your setup? What kind of miners are you using? Solo or pool mining?

If you just want a miner pointing to one address, you’ll need to use a pool. If you've got a full node on testnet, setting it up with a stratum pool is the way to go. Check out Yiimp or CKpool for solo mining, just tweak the configs for testnet.

How do you think Bitcoin Core could control your miners? It's the mining software that handles that. What software are you using? Most of them can be batch configured easily, either with free tools or SSH. What’s your setup like?

I’m planning to run an S9, so it’s some older hardware. I’m on Braiins OS. I thought the ASIC would link to the Bitcoin Core node and do some adjustments or whatever. Pretty sure I get it now, at least I think so. Gonna give those pools a shot, like BitMaxz!
