Bitcoin just dropped from a peak of 109k to around 85k. Seems wild, but honestly, we've seen worse. Some people who went all-in on Bitcoin are feeling it more than the 30% drop. Not because Bitcoin's failing them, but because their holding strategy is off.

If you’re in it for the long haul, just DCA and hold your Bitcoin. The only time you really lose is if you sell below what you bought it for. Your portfolio might look rough in dollars, but your Bitcoin amount stays the same. Just hang tight and it’ll bounce back.

Honestly, the best way to play this is to buy Bitcoin regularly and just hold on. I don’t get how some folks mess it up. If you don’t have a steady buying plan, you’re just trading, and traders can still hold for a while before they cash out.

Exactly! It’s not a loss until you sell. That whole unrealized loss thing is real. And BlackRock and others? They don’t own Bitcoin, they’re just managing it for their clients. Don't stress the short-term stuff, think long-term.

Right? It's not a get-rich-quick scheme. Bitcoin grows, but it takes time. When you invest, don’t gamble everything. Spread it out and don’t go for broke. Invest what you can afford to lose, not loans.

100% agree! Long-term holding is the way to go. Avoid those third-party services; they just want to profit off you. Buy from exchanges, move it to your wallet, and hold on tight.

It’s wild how some people just expect quick wins. Like, sure, go big, but if things go south, it impacts everyone. Microstrategy’s approach can backfire, and when they sell, it can shake the whole market.

+1 to that. Some investors chase quick cash and forget about the fundamentals. They hear ‘risk’ and think ‘opportunity’. It’s frustrating, but it’s their money, right?

It’s like a cycle; they’ll learn the hard way again. Those holding through ETFs or companies don’t really want to hold Bitcoin. They just want the profits to buy things.

Buying shares in a Bitcoin-holding company isn’t the same as HODLing. People need to realize that there’s a lot of locked capital that can’t just be swapped for Bitcoin. Strategy is a way to access that but it comes with its own risks.

I’ve seen so many people mix up holding Bitcoin with holding IOUs or whatever. It doesn’t affect the network, but come on, self-custody is the way to go. But hey, it's their choice.

But what’s your point? Are you saying use trading is bad? We already know that. Strategy knows their stuff; they’re not dumb. Their risk management is on point.

When Bitcoin dips, it doesn't mean you've lost Bitcoin. Your amount stays the same, just the value goes down. People panic and forget that.

People think holding WBTC is the same as BTC, but it’s not. Everything else is just a shadow of Bitcoin. Don’t waste your breath trying to convince those who don’t get it.

The saying ‘not your keys, not your coins’ rings true here. Holding Bitcoin through custodians is risky. Sure, anonymity is a challenge, but there are still ways to stay private.

Totally agree. Investing in Bitcoin is fine until you start getting reckless. It’s still a volatile asset, and you could lose a lot if you’re not careful.

Taking out loans to buy Bitcoin? Risky move. You might not be able to keep up with payments if the market dips.

People think their investments will always lead to profits, but the reality can hit hard. Some will be forced to sell at a loss.

Let’s hope we can create better safeguards for Bitcoin. One day it might hit new highs, but people need to be smarter about how they accumulate.

Bitcoin has proven to be a solid investment. The issue is people expecting quick returns and leveraging too early. They risk too much without waiting to see profits first.
