Haven't seen a number that high before. I thought it was more like 85% of traders losing money. But then, did they include everyone in that stat? Seems like it’s primarily scalpers and day traders, not swing traders. Didn't read the full article, though.

Yeah, the metrics behind that 97% are questionable. I've seen traders lose big, especially in scalping with high use. It's super risky. But I agree, that number might be inflated.

97% feels way too extreme. I get traders lose money, but what criteria did they use? Some people dip their toes and lose everything in just a week. Are these folks counted in that statistic?

Honestly, tons of cash gets lost in trading daily. Strategies can flop, and it often feels like gambling... even riskier sometimes. While the 97% might be high, I see how it could reflect the reality of inexperienced traders.

Can't see the full article without an account. But that author doesn't even have that many followers, which feels sus to me. Sounds like a clickbait headline. Not everyone trades with the same level of skill or mindset.

Forex and futures trading can be brutal. Tried it, lost more than I did gambling. Never going back to that world.

I'm in stocks and crypto futures. If you've got a solid capital base, you can survive the volatility. But futures are a wild ride compared to spot trading. Honestly, sometimes it’s just better to hodl and take small profits.

Most likely they're focusing on futures traders. Day trading can feel like gambling, especially with liquidations looming. The crypto market is just too unpredictable.

Sure, 97% could be true if you look at it from a certain angle. But saying people are lying about their profits isn’t fair. Profitability is about balancing risks, not just flashy lifestyle.

If those stats are legit, they must have a way to track trading times. But think about it: two traders with the same capital can have totally different outcomes, especially day vs weekly.

Having a good strategy is key. Sure, not every trade will hit, but a win rate above 60% can boost your earnings. If you’re losing more, then something’s gotta change in your approach.

60% win rate? Come on, it needs to be way higher. Good traders should be above 80%. Patience is key; the market's not always going your way.

Here’s my method: whenever I get a trade signal, I set a stop-loss to breakeven super fast. It helps minimize losses, even if I get kicked out.

I can’t claim to know everyone’s story, but the 97% figure isn’t far-fetched. I’d say it's at least 80% losers. Seen too many failed traders bragging about perfect records.

Didn’t read the full article, but I've heard that over 90% of day traders take losses too. Market volatility makes consistent wins mighty hard.

I’m trying to short BTC now. Using a pyramiding strategy with a stop-loss. If it goes up, I’m ready to adjust. Gotta stay smart in this volatile market.

For newbies, losing is common. Patience is key, or else you end up gambling. Track and review trades to avoid repeating mistakes.

The key difference is consistency in trading. Over time, you can shift from losing to winning. Meanwhile, gambling rarely gets you better.

Yeah, it’s true. Trading feels like gambling a lot. Trying to grow my capital without withdrawals, but hitting targets is tough.

I've seen numbers like this for years. Some say 90%, others 95%. But honestly, I think it’s over 90% of traders who lose. Most of the 'successful' traders seem linked to broker partnerships.
