Direct rewards for creators sound awesome to me. I don’t write much, but I dabble with video editing. Wouldn't it be cool to get paid by fans directly instead of the platform taking a huge cut? That’s why $TOWN caught my eye, it’s all about connecting creators and fans in a new way.

It really depends on the creators to follow through on their promises. When you buy their IOUs, you’re banking on the idea that they'll actually pay you back. Essentially, they're looking for a cash flow boost when times are tough, hoping to buy back tokens later once they make some sales. It’s like trusting creators to manage their earnings.

Yeah, but let’s be honest, most of these creator tokens are kinda pointless. There are tons of web3 creators, and the market is flooded. Many just want to launch their own tokens for their projects. In a crowded space, I doubt everyone will stand out and succeed.

Not a brand new idea though. Remember $BAT? It was all about allowing users to support their favorite creators through the Brave browser. But the struggle has always been how wealth flows to creators. So far, many rely on donations like Patreon, and we need something more effective for creators to earn.

Haha, true that! Most of these projects just aim for a quick cash grab during the token launch and ditch it later. Investing in altcoins feels like walking through a minefield. So many tokens just don’t offer anything useful, leaving investors jumping from one to another.

Exactly, you gotta be careful. Newbies really need to watch for scams. If an altcoin suddenly tanks, it could wipe out your investment. Best to dig into the developer’s history. If you see red flags or familiar names, that’s a huge warning sign.
