So I just stumbled upon an online store from a Chinese miner manufacturer. Anyone familiar with it? Seems like they’re selling gear from canaan.io.
Anyone heard of this new miner brand?

Canaan has been around for ages. They're legit, one of the earliest in the mining game. Just be cautious with the website. Make sure it’s the right one, without any weird extensions.

Yeah, I think this has been brought up here before. Pretty sure there’s an old thread that talks about them.
Good to know, I checked their chat support and they confirmed it's the official store, shop.canaan.io.
Canaan's been making ASIC miners since 2016, but they don’t have an official distributor at the moment. If you want more manufacturers, hit me up.
Seems like the store is just getting going, not too many people seem to know about it yet.
Not new at all. Canaan created the first ASIC chip back in 2012 and their miners came out in 2013. In my opinion, their miners are top-notch, even if Avalons aren’t as efficient as Bitmain’s, they're way more reliable.
Avalon miners are solid. If anyone needs one, I can share some great pricing.
If you're curious about Canaan models, check out the buying section for suppliers. It's a good way to see market prices.
Guys, just an FYI about Canaan’s warranties. Since they’ve cut out authorized distributors, this applies to resellers as well. Just keep that in mind.
Canaan won’t track how many times an ASIC has changed hands. Warranty issues can be a real hassle, so people should look for local repair services.
They’ve been in the biz since 2013, there’s already a discussion about them somewhere here.
First I'm hearing about it too. Would love to find out more.
Seriously? There are tons of threads about their miners. Just search for 'Avalon' or 'Canaan' in the Hardware section. Models like A6, A721, etc. have been around. Avalon 841 has been super durable.
Just a heads up about that website. It could be a scam. Better to check their official site in China first.
It’s their real online shop. I checked the official site and it all checks out. They’re just starting this new program.
Honestly, you sound like a marketer trying to push their stuff.
Could be an alt account promoting a fake Telegram link. Canaan doesn’t use Telegram for support, so I’m skeptical.
Actually, Canaan just launched their official Telegram group, and I’m already part of it!
First time hearing about it too. Seems like an interesting machine, I think it could be one of the best.
