Nash mentions in his Ideal Money proposal that it aligns with Hayek's Denationalisation of Money. I actually wrote a 15-part series on this. Pretty interesting how Hayek talks about a currency called "the Ducat", while Nash uses the ICPI, which is like a global inflation target for central banks. Can't wait to hear other thoughts on this.

Tbh, Bitcoin is hands down the best form of money we've ever had. But how do we really know if money is effective? Money was meant to solve trade issues. Bartering is messy... I mean, what if you have potatoes and need meat? You gotta find someone who wants your potatoes while wanting to give you beef at the same time. Near impossible sometimes.

I see you bringing up Saifedean theories. Those arguments about money being intuitive are weak. There's no solid economic theory that says money was purposefully created. Everything points to it evolving naturally. You might want to look closer at Menger's work it describes money emerging organically, not by design. Just a thought.
