The reality is both Knots and Knobs are joking around. At least Knobs acknowledges it.

Interesting. My node shows it connected 2 days ago. In that time, I’ve seen 4GB received and 2126GB sent. Is that normal? Why is mine so high? I’m just trying to figure this out!

Nope, no slowdown at all. I’m on a 1GB fiber connection. Even running the node on a VPN, I still get decent speeds.

Not sure what happened there. I’ve got 115 inbounds and 10 outbounds, and my Network window always shows a steady flow of data.

I’m not really worried about privacy either, just the data side of things. You said you hit 2.5TB last year? My node’s already shown almost 2TB in just a week! That seems way too high for smaller ISPs. Guess I’ll keep…

Yeah man, that’s all about the config file! Been running my node on Windows 11 with the.conf in a different drive. Found it in E:\Bitcoin and it works as expected.
