Feels like the Turkish government is sending a message with that sentence. Reminds me of the AlphaBay founder’s story. Committing suicide instead of facing a long prison term? It’s hard not to think he could have been…
- IRS's New Data Collection Plans for Crypto UsersJan 12, 2026
You know, tax loss harvesting could be a strategy... but it’s not easy to deal with all that.
Yeah but the IRS wants your data in the end. You might think you're fine now, but what if you score big later?
KYC is just a slippery slope. Super dangerous... just avoid it and use DEXs as much as you can.
- Who is controlling the @Bitcoin Twitter account?Aug 23, 2024
Who’s the genius running the @Bitcoin account? Seriously, pushing a political agenda like that is just crazy.
Yeah, fees on Cash App have been pretty ridiculous lately. I’ve seen complaints about this everywhere.
Anyone know how this guy finally got his transaction through?
That’s not gonna work. No way to use ViaBTC’s free service if your transaction is larger than 500 bytes. You can't do CPFP either since Cash App is custodial.

Claiming to be Satoshi without proof is just hilarious. If you were him, you’d know we need evidence before buying into it.
Use the Slipstream service for non-standard transactions. Pretty affordable fee rate but you gotta get a client code first which can be slow.
Maybe check the signed raw transaction with decoderawtransaction. Look at the inputs there might be something wrong.
I had a major revelation! These outputs can be redeemed if they’re a 1-of-3 multisig. I tried using vout=0 for one but still got the same error. It says "bad-txns-inputs-missingorspent". What gives?
I figured out some bare multisig outputs can be spent, but I keep getting this annoying error on Electrum: 'Imported_Wallet' object has no attribute 'add_unspent_tx'. Trying to use other services gives me "bad tx input…
Here's a cool update managed to consolidate and spend some outputs using a new feature from Counterparty. Check this out: https://mempool.space/tx/YOUR_CONSOLIDATION_TXID_HERE Some multisig outputs are consolidatable…
Nice find! If you fixed it great. Although now I'm hitting a new error: "RPC error -26: bad-txns-nonstandard-inputs". I really need someone with a custom version of Bitcoin to help push this through.
I wish I could, but I don't have Bitcoin Core installed. I feel like there’s a way to do this via a push tx service. I’d rather not pay a miner if my transaction is messed up, which it might be. I tried using this one:…
Hey all, I could use some expert help here. I'm trying to access multisig outputs from a particular transaction and I have tons like it. Looking to collect them all, worth over $1k in BTC. Here's the link to one of…
Like, has this forum ever had members speak at a conference? Would be cool to promote this place and its history.
Checked out this year's Bitcoin Conference speaker list and honestly, who even are these people? Kinda baffled who wants to hear from them.
Honestly, I worry that they will cater to big businesses and exchanges instead of regular HODLers like us.
