I used to think "never sell your Bitcoin" just meant holding on for profits. But after hanging out with more Bitcoin enthusiasts and diving into some economic theories, I get it now. It’s more about the philosophy behind it, not just the profit.

But that’s the thing. Saying "never sell" feels incomplete. What’s the point of just hoarding if you can’t enjoy your wealth? If you’re making small profits, it’s more sensible to sell a bit instead of just holding forever.

Exactly, everyone has their own reasons for investing in Bitcoin. Not everyone can afford to be like Satoshi and hold indefinitely. Some might just want to pass it down as inheritance.

Honestly, that doesn’t really mean much. If you’re not making plans to withdraw or enjoy your gains, then what are you even doing with your investment? You’ve got to be realistic about your finances.

We should be talking about trading instead of selling. Saying "sell" implies Bitcoin isn’t a currency but just a way to get fiat. It’s a mindset thing, really.

I think for a lot of people, the idea of never selling Bitcoin is about seeing it as more than just an asset. It’s a whole new monetary system. But most just look at the price charts and think only about profits.

+1 to that. If you sell, you might regret it later. The idea is that holding on means you might benefit more over time.

But still, Satoshi is the only one who hasn’t sold. At some point, everyone will have to sell, whether for personal reasons or to pass it on.

Bitcoin is supposed to be a tool to enhance your life. If you’re just holding and never using it for anything meaningful, it’s just a number on a screen. A withdrawal strategy is essential.

Right. It’s unrealistic to say you should never trade Bitcoin. If you have private keys, you can control when to take profits.

So what’s the point of saying "never sell" if you don’t clarify it? It’s all about holding for the long term, but eventually, you’ll need to sell some.

I think the main point is about not rushing to sell due to market fear. That leads to losses. It’s more about patience.

You’re right, but I wonder about people who take it literally. Some might hold forever and miss out on enjoying life.

If you just focus on accumulating Bitcoin without thinking about what to do with it, you might lose sight of your goals.

Absolutely. It’s important to balance holding with enjoying what you've got. We all have different timelines.

Your situation is your own. If you need to sell your Bitcoin, do it. Life’s too short to just hoard without enjoyment.

I don’t really buy into the idea of never selling. We all have our targets and reasons to eventually cash out.

To me, the phrase is about long-term holding. But realistically, we need to be ready to sell at the right time.

Isn't it funny how people act like you’re a bad person for selling? At some point, we’ll all sell.

Exactly! Just because you hold doesn’t mean you won’t ever sell. It’s all about timing and personal needs.
