Demand for anonymous coins has gone up big time lately. With Trump back in charge and crypto laws coming, people are worried about their transactions being watched. Plus, with the market dropping, Zcash and Monero look good as safe havens.
Why Are Anonymous Coins Gaining Popularity Again

Yeah, and it's funny because while some exchanges are ditching these privacy coins, you can still find plenty that list them if you look. Those coins are still out there, just gotta know where to look.
ZEC's rise is interesting. No major news, just a shift in how people think about privacy. Plus, there's that FUD about ZEC's co-founder. It wasn't supposed to pump, but it’s all about that narrative shift.
CoinMarketCap used to be reliable, but now I'm skeptical of its listings. Tried to buy on those exchanges before, ended up losing some crypto due to scams. Now I'm sticking with Monero, ZEC's pump seems too risky.

Not sure where you’re from, but I just checked Kucoin and they have ZEC. If you can’t find it, maybe you’re just not looking hard enough. ZEC is bouncing back even in a down market, feels manipulated.
I’ve seen this hype cycle before. Every few years folks get nervous about their wallets being watched. With the election talk and surveillance fears, ZEC rises like it's 2017 again. But let’s be real, this isn’t grassroots.

Sure, privacy coins are buzzing, but regulations are still a big issue. People need to understand the risks involved. If you’re jumping in, have a solid plan and know the market conditions.
Monero got delisted from some exchanges due to privacy concerns, but it’s still considered more private than ZEC, which allows some transparency. There are exchanges that still list both, just check the rules.
Privacy coins are trending hard now, and Zcash is leading over Monero. People are realizing they need privacy since the government’s looking into everything. Zcash offers shielded options which is appealing.

They’re still getting listed everywhere! ZEC is on Binance, XMR on Kucoin, MEXC, you name it. The recent surge is just the usual narrative shift and some influencers hyping it up.

It’s hard to say what’s really behind this surge. Could just be manipulation ahead of a bear market. The real question is whether holders will cash out or hold.
I think KYC regulations are making people want privacy coins more. With increasing tracking, people are starting to care about their financial privacy.
Still, privacy coins will face pressure. Exchanges want to stay compliant, so regulations will continue to challenge them. The community's support is key for survival.
There's a lot of hype around ZEC right now, but I think a lot of it is just traders flipping for profit. Many are not really into privacy, just looking for the next hot coin.
Disagree with you there. Monero's growth has been steady, unlike ZEC which just had that one spike. Look at the charts, XMR is the real deal.

Some folks might be using P2P markets to trade Monero instead of Bitcoin, especially on platforms where regulations don’t reach. Liquidity is an issue in the West though.

Not sure about this being manipulation. Many coins are involved, and it feels like an effort to keep crypto alive during a bear market. Hodlers usually wait for bigger profits.
Are things changing? I thought privacy coins were being phased out. Now listing them seems more common. Many people just want quick gains, not real privacy.
Idk if it’s the whole story, but EU’s been ramping up tracking, and that got a lot of chatter going. Influencers pushing Zcash as a privacy solution totally played into it.

Did you hear about the Winklevoss twins? They’re trying to grab 5% of Zcash’s total supply. All the ZEC promotion might be from insiders looking to cash in.
