Who’s got the keys to the ALS Foundation’s Bitcoin?

Haven't been active lately but just tried to donate to the ALS Foundation in memory of Hal. Noticed the donation address from 2014 has 14 BTC sitting there, untouched for years. What’s up with that?

That’s what I’m saying. If I knew how to help, I would’ve reached out already. They need someone who actually knows where that key is.

That sounds like a solid move. Someone's gotta have access to that wallet.

Just a heads up, I was reminded about this issue today after seeing a tweet related to Hal. Still no word from the Bitcoin Foundation about the address. Gonna try reaching the Board members directly. The coins are still there.

Any news on this situation?

Good point. At least we can check all those transaction codes. No one can say they didn’t get the money, thanks to those hashes.

Still waiting to hear back from the Bitcoin Foundation. Double-checked my Spam folder and nothing there either. That address has over 14 BTC... might try contacting the Trustees one by one.
