Hey everyone, Just wanted to point out the growing trend of companies piling into Bitcoin. It seems like institutions and ETF funds are on a mission to stack up BTC, and this is shifting the whole market. Recent stats show that the top 100 public companies are holding over a million BTC, which is pretty wild. Strategy, or whatever they call themselves now, is still the big dog with more than 600,000 BTC. Metaplanet and Marathon aren’t far behind. And let’s not forget about the ETFs like BlackRock’s IBIT with a whopping 76 billion in assets backing these moves.

Not all these companies will just keep buying without selling, tho. I mean, especially Bitcoin Spot ETFs that are buying for their clients. They gotta sell some BTC when people want their cash back. So yeah, while I do think the interest is growing, I can see them needing to sell off some of those holdings, especially when demand shifts. 10% of the total supply is a stretch, but who knows.

Thanks for the insights! Those ETF dynamics are key. They have to balance out the buys and sells for their customers, and redemptions definitely make them liquidate some of their BTC. With so many new investors entering the scene, hitting that 10% supply doesn’t seem impossible. By the way, do you guys think any company will give Strategy a run for their money soon?
