Started this topic out of pure curiosity. Satoshi's identity is such a mystery, and people compare him to some genius group. Like, is he one person or a bunch of super-smart techies? We can throw names around, but no solid proof on who Satoshi really is. Hal Finney seems like a candidate, but is there really any real evidence?
Remember that HBO documentary from a couple of years ago? LOL, they were trying to crack the Satoshi case. And now here we are, still throwing around Sassaman's name... Come on! If Satoshi is a single person, I still side with Hal. He received the first Bitcoin transaction after all.
Feels kinda forced, don’t you think? There’s too much gap between events, and it seems way too convenient. Plus, we don’t even know if Hal did anything groundbreaking. If it’s such a sensitive topic, why keep hunting for Satoshi? It’s their personal life. Honestly, does it even matter?
I've never really cared about finding Satoshi. I mean, the creation of Bitcoin is what matters to me. Why waste time searching for someone when I can learn how to protect my assets instead? And aliens creating Bitcoin? Nah, Satoshi’s a person just like us, not some extraterrestrial.

After reading through some old mailing lists, I’ve gotta say Nick Szabo looks like a strong candidate. No definitive proof, but his writing style and past work with Bit Gold really feels like it lines up with Satoshi's vision.
So if Sasasman is Satoshi, what’s next? How will that change anything? Even if it’s true, it’s not like anyone can confirm it. This whole search feels like a waste of time. The BTC ecosystem will keep going strong regardless of who Satoshi is or was.
