So, which altcoins do you guys think will still be around in 2040? Here's a list to kick things off: - Solana (SOL) - BNB (BNB) - XRP (XRP) - Cardano (ADA) - Toncoin (TON) - Avalanche (AVAX) - Polkadot (DOT) - Cosmos (ATOM) - TRON (TRX) - Polygon (MATIC) - Litecoin (LTC) - Dogecoin (DOGE) - Monero (XMR) - Stellar (XLM) - Chainlink (LINK)

Honestly, I think BNB is a solid choice. It's hard to imagine Binance just collapsing, right? Plus, XMR, LTC, XLM, ATOM, ADA and SOL are pretty strong contenders too. I’m stacking some of those along with Bitcoin.

You’re spot on. No way all these will stick around. In a decade and a half, I bet most will be gone. Some new coins we’ve never heard of might pop up and take their place. That's just how the market rolls.

What do you think about Ripple making Stellar irrelevant? They seem pretty similar to me, kinda like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

ADA feels kinda underwhelming. It’s in direct competition with Ethereum and Solana. I think there's only space for one winner in the West, maybe TRON for the East?

New scam coins will keep popping up, especially around Bitcoin halving. A lot of folks got wrecked this last bull run due to the FTX and Terra Luna mess. It’s made altcoin seasons feel like a thing of the past.

14 years could flip the script on almost all of these coins. Like 99% of them didn't exist back then.

You can’t just assume the same coins will be around in 14 years. The market will look so different. I’m sticking with decentralized projects like Bitcoin and Monero.

Investing in altcoins is usually a short-term play. New contenders will keep emerging, and the ones without strong communities will fade away.

Don’t kid yourself. Most of these coins will just follow the trends until 2040, but a few may thrive. I doubt XRP will go to zero; BNB too. But LTC is struggling.

Honestly, I can’t give a solid answer about which coins will survive. Altcoins are super unpredictable. If you want to invest long-term, just go for Bitcoin.

After Bitcoin, I’d say Ethereum is like silver. It might not be everyone’s take, but it feels solid.

It’s true, any of these altcoins can flop anytime. Holding Bitcoin seems safer for long-term value.

There are so many unknowns. Even top projects can vanish, so Bitcoin should be your main focus for long-term.

Yeah, Cardano and Polkadot could just fade away into nothing. They’re practically zombies already. Wouldn't shock me if they just became ETH layer 2s.

There might be some meme coins hanging around for ages, but anything can happen. Just invest what you can afford to lose.

That applies to many layer 2s too. User interest drops fast when transaction fees go down too low, making some L2s less appealing.

Remember when ADA was the next big thing? Now it’s quiet. History repeats itself; many promising projects fade away.

I’m eliminating coins with low on-chain revenue. If they can’t generate income, they probably won’t last long.

Predicting 2040 is wild. Ethereum is likely safe, but who knows? Monero might hold up too.
