I brought this up cause it really stuck with me. Some interview I saw years ago said that when altcoins are pumping more than Bitcoin, it’s time to dip out of BTC or something along those lines. Makes sense, right?
When Altcoins Rally, Should You Exit Bitcoin?

Your post sounds confident, but it all hinges on some random interview. Saying others are delusional for wanting to hold both seems misplaced. Look, if you really believe in your warning, show us some actual analysis instead of just throwing out opinions.
Come on, the altcoin rally happens cause some people think they’ve maxed out on Bitcoin profits and want to gamble with altcoins. This has always been the cycle.

That’s not the whole truth. Sure, Bitcoin leads, but it’s not a simple pattern. We saw privacy coins pump hard when we were nearing a bear market last time. It’s not a new concept, but it’s relevant.

I get where you’re coming from, but using altcoin movement to predict Bitcoin’s next steps feels off. It’s common for folks to misread altcoin trends as indicators for BTC, but they’re often wrong. Solid analysis on Bitcoin's own metrics is way more reliable.
Honestly, any method to predict the market can work, as long as you're lucky. Historical data is your best bet, but it’s still hit or miss.

Last year’s altcoins were just as sketchy as this year. So what makes these new coins so different now? People act like Bitcoin's price doesn’t influence altcoins but it does a lot.
Totally! When Bitcoin is in the headlines, that’s when you should be cautious and consider exiting. I recognized this and sold when BTC hit its peak. I’d be hurting if I hadn’t.
I think you’re looking at it wrong. Not every BTC holder jumps into altcoins. Many stick with Bitcoin for the long haul because different altcoins come with risks.

That’s fair, but the situation feels different now. During the last bull run, some altcoins would easily multiply your investment. Now it’s not as sensational.
Back then, that was true, but now, with all these Bitcoin ETFs and big players, things have shifted. Today, most altcoins are riding BTC’s coattails.

This relates to economic cycles. Altcoin rises often follow Bitcoin peaks, but who knows? Buying when everyone is pessimistic often leads to profits.
I thought it was your theory, haha. Just be careful where you get your info. Altcoin vs. Bitcoin season is real, and listening to random YouTubers can really mislead people.

Many must’ve sold at $100k. What a missed chance! Now it’s about buying low for the next rally instead of panicking.

Thanks for the heads-up! If I had followed your advice, my portfolio would be a mess right now.

People know what to do by now. It's just that they’re cycling out of Bitcoin temporarily instead of actually abandoning it.

That’s definitely true. People who aren’t in it for the long game tend to sell for quick profits, while those who buy now can capitalize when the market rallies again.
Totally disagree. Altcoin rallies seem random and even if someone thinks they can anticipate them, that’s really risky. Patterns aren’t just repeating.
When BTC seems stagnant, that's when folks start throwing money into altcoins. They’re chasing the next big thing, but we need to be careful, the market could still be sideways.
We haven’t had a legit bull run for altcoins lately. Some believe the market patterns are changing. Last cycle saw Bitcoin rise and ALT fail to keep up.
