We all know that altcoins aren't what they used to be. Bitcoin had its time up top before dipping back down. XRP made a massive comeback, gaining 300-500%, thanks to Ripple’s legal wins and institutional interest. Real-world asset tokens did well too because of their yield potential, while meme coins provided some small gains of 30-50%. I'm mainly focused on deflationary tokens since scarcity drives demand.

My strategy is pretty straightforward. A small portion for memes, around 25% in real-world assets, another 25% in exchange coins, and the remaining for Layer 1 blockchains. If a bear market hits, I think the tokens with active income will survive while others fade away. Holding tokens with utility is definitely the way to go to avoid being left behind.

Yeah but new tokens are super risky, especially around TGE. That's why I’m cautious with them and prefer established altcoins like SOL or ADA. They’ve been around long enough that their chances of failing are lower.

Gonna focus on BTC and ETH for sure. BNB is also on my radar, maybe some hyped tokens (lol). A lot of people think 2026 will bring new all-time highs, but I’m skeptical and want to see it first. I’ll just keep stacking BTC since it’s getting harder to mine new ones.

Risk tends to equal reward. If we go into a bear market, people may want to chase those huge returns through altcoins or new projects since they usually have more room for growth.

Nah, not investing in any tokens. Everything seems sketchy, and I'm betting on 2026 being a bear year. Prices for all tokens, even Bitcoin, are likely to drop. I’d rather avoid buying altogether because small tokens often don’t yield better results.

I primarily hold BTC, ETH, and a bit of SOL. 99% in BTC, the rest is for fun. I like staking ETH and using SOL in liquidity pools for gains. If I don’t use a token, I won’t buy it. Simple as that.

Honestly, based on past trends, 2026 might suck for prices. I’m not convinced that BTC will hit a new ATH, but I plan to stack up more BTC and maybe some BNB. Definitely staying away from risky tokens.

XRP hit it big with legal stuff, and RWAs are really making waves due to their returns. As for meme coins, they're just as unpredictable as ever.

Next year looks bearish, but this year was supposed to be great too so let’s see. I'm looking at BNB; it could hit $10k. BGB also has strong utility. I’m taking advantage of these 48-hour phases to build my collection.

Next year could be fantastic, but I’m prepared for a potential downturn. Focusing on accumulating BTC makes sense to me since holding altcoins won’t help if BTC isn’t doing well.

Right? If BTC drops, all the altcoins follow. Even if it goes south, I have to stick with some alts because the recovery is often driven by BTC's performance.

At this point, I’m just all in on Bitcoin. I’ve lost faith in altcoins, and I don’t even want to look at them for now. Maybe I’ll get back into them later, but for now, it’s all about BTC for me.

A bad end to the year could be good for savvy investors. People will panic and sell, but that just means cheaper Bitcoin for those of us willing to buy.

Totally feel that. Picking altcoins feels risky these days with so many failures. It used to be easier to identify strong coins, but now it feels like many are just destined to fall.

I’m more of a trend follower. I don’t have a concrete plan for 2026 yet. I hear bearish rumors but still hope the major alts perform well. I’ll invest in some alts and try to save up while keeping an eye on sales which are often hit or miss.

Every year, people are optimistic, but it seems like we've hit a point where next year isn’t promising. If you think things will get worse, why not just chill out for a bit?

Isn’t it premature to speculate about new altcoins coming in 2026? They’re entering the market for the first time, and we can’t judge their potential without solid roadmaps and existing ecosystems. Better to stick with known ones like BNB or ETH.

Nothing new for me. I’ll stick to top 20 tokens but will do my homework on them. I want to know who’s behind the projects and their goals. Big names involved give me confidence to invest.

I don’t trust altcoins like I do Bitcoin. So I’m picky. If I had to choose, I’d go for ETH, BNB, SOL, and XRP. Less risky than chasing after unpredictable coins that might not pay off.
