Do you all think crypto will really hit mainstream adoption in 10 years? And where do you think BTC will be by then?

Nah, I don’t see it happening. For Bitcoin to really take off, it needs broader adoption, but institutions are too worried about risks. High prices are cool, but what if regulation messes up my ability to use my Bitcoin?
If we’re looking ahead, I gotta say Bitcoin's price is gonna keep climbing. It's already way higher than before, and over time, it'll be multiple times what it is now. Price moves in cycles, so those corrections are just part of the game.
Honestly, crypto feels like a scam to me. Most folks don’t really get Bitcoin. There’s a big difference between Bitcoin and the rest of crypto, which is often just a scam fest. Bitcoin is true decentralized money, while most other coins just exploit people.
BTC already has what I’d call ‘endless value’ since you can hold it without a middleman. Would you really use monopoly money to value your house at ‘10 trillion notes’? Some countries are kinda doing that with their currencies. Western nations may face similar issues soon... Altcoins? Same printing problem, just digital.
You’re saying all crypto is a scam but what about coins like Dash or Monero? They focus on privacy and aren’t centralized. Just because Bitcoin is decentralized doesn’t mean others can’t be too.

Bitcoin gets stronger as people start to realize its potential. If folks stay scared or broke, they’ll miss out on its opportunities. In a decade, the world will change, but people won’t. Smarter tech might shift views on Bitcoin's value.
Totally think it can happen. If legit institutions back Bitcoin, the fear of restrictions will drop. They have the power to create trust, and that could lead to mass adoption.

I can’t talk about crypto’s future without mentioning that many altcoins are just distractions. Bitcoin stands out as a true store of value. If institutions overtake us in Bitcoin adoption, it won’t change the network itself.
I see cryptocurrencies gaining market value in the coming years. But altcoins? I wouldn’t trust them. They spike and then crash, often not reaching their previous highs. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a solid investment.

I think this whole institutional adoption is just a psychological game. They require control to keep things in check. I’m not against it as long as it benefits everyone, but where’s the proof it actually helps?
Yeah, something could change, but for now, who knows. If Bitcoin’s value skyrockets, we might see it reach over $500k, but it could also go lower. Just a guess, really.
Adoption’s already happening. More institutions are jumping in, and a decade is a long time. I think we’ll see way more institutions involved by then. Some major players are in the game, but keeping it under wraps for now.

Whether it's institutions or global interest, Bitcoin's price will go up if adoption keeps rising. I don’t put too much stock in institutional moves they’re often just in it for profit, not out of loyalty to Bitcoin.
For sure! Institutions will eventually showcase Bitcoin as something valuable. People might come for the wrong reasons at first, but they'll learn its true value over time. It’s kinda like dating initial attraction fades, and then you see the real deal.
Exactly! When people finally grasp Bitcoin's potential, they'll come around for good reasons. Many invest based on hype, but as Bitcoin’s popularity grows, more will understand its actual value.
Mass adoption is already happening! Bitcoin is getting more hype than ever. Institutions don’t dictate our personal Bitcoin value. Just look at past trends to see the market’s resilience.
I think we’ll see broader acceptance of crypto in 10 years, especially for Bitcoin. Companies and banks are noticing it, so it’s not going anywhere. But predicting BTC’s price in 10 years? That’s a tough call.
Looking back a decade, I’m sure similar debates happened. Sure, it might look different in 10 years, but I believe institutions are already recognizing Bitcoin’s place.
What do you mean by crypto? If you’re talking about meme markets, then yeah, that’s here to stay. But if you mean innovative businesses born from crypto, that’s still evolving and will continue.
